 Not a good site. Access is difficult and pitches are very tight.
The owner directs you in but not so helpful on exit. Impossible bend led to damage to our van.
Showers are ancient and not very clean.
Good access to Menaggio.

We looked around this site beside Lake Como. Very friendly owner. Some improvements being made, but this is basically a rather untidy place with some very old permanent outfits and a few touring pitches. Little grass. It’s near a boatyard and is rather squashed in with not much lake view. Couldn’t see any direct access to the lake. It’s not a ‘sitting out and enjoy the view’ site.
Shady-dark in the afternoon. Access into Menaggio via hairpin bends from Porlezza road or from Como, S, on a better road. Even so, this site is uneven and not suitable for long outfits. May suit some for a short stay. A shame as it's in a lovely area, has an easy walk into town with boat services on the lake.

Large, busy site in the town of Menaggio on Lake Como, but mainly caters for seasonal tourers. The site was cheap (20 euros with EHU) and friendly, but they really crammed people in, which was fine for a night, but maybe not for a long stay. Facilities were fine, but for hot water there was a charge.
The town of Menaggio is worth visiting: it's busy, lively and is set in a stunning location. There's a variety of decent bars and shops, as well a crazy golf etc.
The site wasn't the best, but it was cheap for Italy and was the only one in town, so if you want to visit this place, this is the only place to camp.
