Our three kids loved this campsite so that meant that we were happy with it too!
We were given a large pitch which fitted an eight foot tent, T5 van and dining area with space for the kids to play. Looking around this was probably one of the biggest but the pitches seemed a good size.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Most were students who spoke great English and were keen to share the best surfing spots. As this is what we came for, this was great inside info!
Great base, as well as the beaches, woods, nearby water park and extensive cycle paths we enjoyed exploring all the small towns and resorts along the coast, right down to Biarritz. If you want to stay on site there are three nice pools, kids playground, kids club and lots of adult classes such as keep fit, aqua aerobics etc. The shop was well stocked and the bar/restaurant was quiet, closing around 11. 30. Unfortunately, there was a disco just down the road which would start up at about midnight and last until four in the morning. Great for the young surf dudes, not so great for those who need their beauty sleep and have a complete dislike of Europop.
Toilets, sinks etc clean but - as is my usual gripe - there weren't enough for a packed site that holds at least 240 pitches! Communal bbqs all around site. Fridges and freezers available (kept in the toilet block!) and washers and dryers which was great for us as we were there for ten days out of a four week tour!
Overall, good site. Most expensive we stayed at on this trip though, but nice vibe and fab location. Very child friendly. Just let down by the noise from the disco outside. Remember your ear plugs or what the hell. Go join in and strut your stuff!

\Visited the site with my young family this summer - great pitch in the shade. Very quiet - important as we like our sleep. Pools, shop and restaurant good.
Toilets - usual French fashion for 1 with seat, 1 without seat and 2 squats. Good showers. About 1.5km from beach - 10 mins on bike. Fantastic beach but waves very strong.
Would recommend take bikes as many good cycle tracks around. Not many Brits, which may be good/bad thing depending on opinion.

This is a great site!
The pitches are large with plenty of shade. We managed a large Vango tent and 3 man tent and gazebo on a standard size without it feeling too cramped.
The facilities are great, with a very friendly and well stocked shop, delicious takeaway and restaurant and reception staff that make you feel welcome and readily available to answer any questions.
The swimming pools are large and both child and adult friendly, kept very clean by a hard working groundsman.
The sea is about 1.5 miles away and a bit of a hike if your taking beach kit, however there is plenty of shady and free parking near by. The beach is clean and does not get over crowded.
The site offered plenty of events for families throughout the week, including outdoor film screenings of current films (in french), sport competitions and even a small circus.Baboon included!
The only negative and it is a small one, is that the shower and toilet blocks are a little dated and could do with updating, however they are clean and always had hot water.
It is well located in terms of the coast and local villages and markets, it was also close to Biarritz airport and station. We also did visits into the mountains, towns and Spain.
Overall a friendly, quiet and well equipped site, we would definitely go back.
