Very good site
Plenty of room on hard stand
Only disappointment was that it was a bank holiday weekend and council run one of the men’s toilet was out of order all weekend and no toilet paper by Tuesday morning
Otherwise a very good camping site

I think things have improved here since the last review 3 years ago.
I used this site twice - the day we arrived at Rosslare, and the day before we departed back to England, travelling round the southern half of ROI on motorbikes.
12 Euro per person didn't seem too bad. There are a good number of showers and toilets in two blocks. The facilities are perhaps slightly dated in appearance, but I found them to be very clean. Toilet paper and handsoap is provided. Showers cost a Euro for about 6 minutes. Make sure you remember to buy the tokens when you book in - you cannot use coins in the showers themselves.
There is a little function hall on the site (kind of like a scout hut). It has a kitchen with kettle and microwave you can use. I think it probably gets used for school camping trips. There was 8 or 9 people doing a first aid course in there when we were there, but that was it, so presumably you could sit in it to play board games if the weather gets bad to be outside.
There's also a kids playpark, and of course the swimming centre all on site so plenty to keep children entertained.
This site is right on the waterfront so the view is lovely. If you prefer to be more sheltered, there is a wall along the back (although there seem to be a few odd mosquitoes flying around at that end, so pop a bit of insect repellent on).
The town is a short 10 minute walk over the bridge. There are loads of pubs. Personal recommendation - Maggie Mays. Traditional Irish music on pretty much every night, and a great covered terrace area if you like a quieter drink.
I can't really comment on what else is in the area and therefore how long you might stay there for, but certainly for one or two nights it's worth a visit.

Stayed here for two nights before getting ferry back to Pembroke. We toured the south of Ireland for a month and stayed at many campsites and this one was the worst and the most expensive. It's very run down and needs a massive renovation. There are rubbish bins along the middle of the campsite and the drinking water taps are next to them. Not good!

Booked here after looking at the reviews. Not impressed. Bins not emptied in the 10 days we stayed. Tired run down site. Showers cold. Toilet blocks dated and cleaned only once on our stay in the 10 days. No individual stand pipes. Most electrical points not RCCB protected at point. Basically a very run down site, no grey water drains at pitches, only suitable for a one night stop over. Will not be back. Needs updated big time.

Here for one night at Easter. Flat open site with several plots overlooking the sea. Could be a bit exposed if very windy. Access down to the shore but quite stony.
Facilities quite basic but some work seemed to be ongoing. Campers can use the shower facilities in the adjoining leisure centre- costs the same as getting a token for the campsite shower block but much more pleasant.
Easy walk over the bridge into town. No shops locally.

We stayed here for one night prior to our ferry back to the UK. The campsite is owned and run by the local council, and the on site warden was very friendly and run a tight ship! The facilities may be a little dated but they were ample and clean. The site has a great view as it looks out to sea. The local swimming pool is also on site for those interested, and the town on Wexford is ten minutes walk. A good site for a stop over but don't think I could stay there for a longer period of time.
