Lovely site, well kept, plenty of space around pitches.

Allocated pitch clearly displayed by gate on arrival but also welcomed by owner Geoff.

Within easy drive of coast and Lymington/ Beaulieu.

Only slight negative was, as dog owners, there were no walks direct from the site but there are plenty of lovely walks only a short drive away.

Would definitely return.

Had a lovely peaceful quiet stay on Long Acre Farm at end of July, our second visit this month. Arrived and the information board indicated where our pitch was, a good system!

Parking up we were greeted cheerfully by Geoff, he took time to chat, told us we could use the whole area around our pitch which was lovely.

Nice calm peaceful site, saw Roe deer, Alpacas and pheasants and lots of squirrels in the trees around the site.

Little train goes past the site in the distance but is not loud or a nuisance, cannot be seen. Big field, clean and tidy, recycling and bins emptied frequently.

Quiet and well maintained site. Visited Pipers Wait the highest point in the forest and Barton on Sea has the best ever fish and chips with sea views 💦 🦌

We had given feedback at the end of our first stay suggesting the toilets could have some cleaning materials and the mirrors were high up for shorties like me, Geoff informed us with a cheeky smile he was waiting for our checking over of his updates.

All done to a very good standard and Geoff was happy his campers were happy! A lovely second stay for another 4 nights.

This CL is so nice, it's a pleasure to give feedback and we will be back to Long Acre without a doubt 😊👍

 Lovely and peaceful site.

Met Geoff on arrival and he was very welcoming.

Very spacious and flat grass pitches and spotless facilities.

Will definitely return sometime soon. Couldn't ask for better.

Had an enjoyable couple of nights in mid April '23 on this peaceful site with generous pitches at Long Acre Farm.

The simple facilities were spotless.

The owners are helpful, they let us stay a couple of extra hours when we needed to call out a technician to fix a fault.

Like other reviews we did not find the proximity of the railway line (which is in a cutting) intrusive, it did not disturb our sleep.

 Easy booking, nice spacious site.

Quiet, clean facilities.

Railway line very near but no problem.

Good site for local visits but as I return to visit local relatives I seem to miss out !

Spot on for us 👍

 Very pleasant flat field.

Loads space for the max 5 Pitches allowed by CL site

Two separate loos with wc and Sink separate shower with lots of room and good quality shower and very hot water as required properly controllable.

Facilities clearly cleaned regularly

Good elsan emptying facility.

Hook ups and cold water tap.

Had friendly greeting from owner.

Understand under current ownership for only three years so older reviews can to some extent can be ignored. Train noise is regular but after a while note really noticeable,

Good access but maybe best to turn right when leaving to avoid telegraph pole and avoid blocking what can be busy road turning left. Roundabout to turn around and come back just a minute or so away. No traffic noise due long track to camping field.

Will be back. Great location its about 15 20 minutes to beaches and many local attractions, and shops. Loads of pubs and takeawys nearby yet it seems in middle of nowhere

Small site with 5 flat pitches. Hook up on all and drinking water a max of 30 yards away. Full facilities available.

Clean toilets and shower. No road noise but there is a train line 75metres away. Tbh, you don't really notice it as its not too busy and stops around 11 ish for the night.

Highly recommended and won't hesitate to go back in the future.

Saw wild deer as well only 50 yards away.

Entrance not the best to see until you are on top of it and you need a good swing out to get in and you have to block the road whilst you open the gate with a long outfit. But once in the gate the site is lovely.

There is a train line next to the site, trains start about 6am and run until about 10pm, but not too noisy.

Toilet block nothing fancy but clean and a good shower. No playground for children but my daughter was happy looking at all the horses the owners had.

Plenty of space between pitches, site was full when we visited but still felt peaceful.

Pub about 1 mile down the road and several take aways about 2 miles away.

Beautiful area, Christchurch has lots to see. Some fab beaches in the area. I had never visited the New forest before and had a very enjoyable time on a lovely site which at £14 night was very good value for money. Beaulieu motor museum was a good day out but a bit expensive at full price but with caravan discount not too bad.
Management response: This site is now under new management.

Since this review, please note that there are no horses currently located in the field next to the CL site field

We chose this site because of it's decent size and good location. It was great being allowed to arrive and leave in our own time. The owners were friendly and the price was reasonable at £12 per night.

The 2 toilets and 1 shower were located in 3 individual garden sheds with a privacy screen to divide them off from view. The only failure was the poor condition of the equipment in the sheds. One tap was leaking. Ivy was growing inside one toilet and standing room for me at 6'1' was only at the shed apex when showering.

20p gives 5 minutes hot water time and this system worked fine. Also located nearby was the waste emptying point. One water filling point was at the end of the main field.

There is a train line 75 yards away in a cutting. The trains run all day and night. Noise not as bad as it could be but better to be warned. We used ear plugs at night and slept well.

If you can cope with the basic toilet facilities and live without a washing up area this is a good priced and well located CL.
Management response: This site is now under new management.

lease note that since 2011 the toilets and shower facilities have been updated and there is no charge for the shower.
