Passable. Was expensive for what it was. Other campsites in Belgium are a lot cheaper and offer better pitches. I was squashed on a piece of grass next to one of the camping huts. This was ok for one night but compared to previous campsites in Belgium a bit poor.
Facilities very clean. I wouldn't go again as the pitch was poor. Can't complain about the facilitates.

We had tried on several occassions to pre book this campsite prior to leaving the U. K. Even leaving a message asking them to confirm the booking but no contact was made. We eventually phoned whilst in France two days prior to the booking required as we had heard nothing from them. We later found out that this cost us an extra 17 euro plus 5 euro for office? On arrival we booked in and were allotted a pitch. The campsite was very busy, pitch was adequate and had it's own water and waste. The smell on the site however was horrendous and on return home we found that many of the dutch reviews on the ACSI site had mention that the site had SERIOUS PLUMBING PROBLEMS. The smell was so bad we packed up and left after 17 hours. We had paid about £80 for 2 nights including all the add on fees and got back about £27. Lots of people were leaving, you could not sit outside to eat food because the smell made you feel sick. We will never visit this site again, it cost us so much money and the stay was so unpleasant due to the smell. The entertainment staff worked hard and put on a show for the children which was very good, it is just unfortunate that the smell was unbearable. The pool did not look as clean as other campsites we have been to. We moved up the road to Moulin De Malampre which was a lovely site, not as busy and well worth the effort of moving on.

Thought it might be helpful to post an up-to-date review of this excellent site. We were there last week, having picked the area and site at random whilst en route home from Switzerland. It's apparently changed hands fairly recently but from the reviews here this seems to have - if anything - improved the site.
There's a brand new purpose-made prefabricated (I guess) facilities block, scrupulously clean and with all the mod cons you could want, including an area with child-sized toilets and showers.
The site's location remains quiet and peaceful; serviced by good roads, it feels quite remote and provides good views from its terraced pitches.
The number of Vacansoliel mobile homes might not be to everyone's taste, but given the setting, I would guess their clientèle to be a fairly peace-loving lot.
The bar is well stocked, staff are friendly and helpful, and - perhaps the icing on the cake - the small restaurant offers a limited but superb range of meals. Whoever does the cooking here is a seriously gifted chef.
My only slight quibble is that for caravanners/motorhomers, it's a bit of a walk to the chemical toilet disposal point, which is understandably situated at one end of the site, well out of the way.
But it certainly won;t prevent me making a return to this lovely site in a stunning area.

We stayed on this site with Vacancsoleil, that being a cheaper option than taking our own tent. The camp site is wonderful, a stunning location with lots of local walks and is very peaceful and tranquil. It is very clean, the toilet blocks were kept clean always and I can only second everything what has already been said about this site. We didn't try the restaurant but it seemed very popular and unfortunately it was too chilly to try out the pool, but it looked really good. Kids loved the playgrounds too.

I find it difficult to add reviews of sites as one mans poison is another ones passion, but for me this site was fantastic for what I wanted from my stay. I have a dog I take every where so I need to have some degree of freedom for him to exercise, and he certainly enjoyed the forests around the site. The site is laid out on terraces each with there own water tap/waste water dumping electric hook up and internet access wifi. They have a bar restaurant and a small shop and all the other amenities associated with a 4-star site. Its location is easy for sightseeing the area of the Battle of the Bulge. Brilliant I certainly would go again.

To find site:- From A26 motorway leave at junction 50 and head towards La Roche en Ardenne on N89. Just after Samrée take right turn to Dochamps and follow signs for Petite Suisse. The campsite is on the left but on the right is a parking area with several spaces for caravans/motorhomes where you can park prior to booking in.
The name in some ways says it all. This campsite is set high up in the wooded Ardennes and you get excellent views from the terraced pitches. It is a large site with a mixture of touring pitches, permanent caravans, mobile homes, pitched tents and log cabins. The touring pitches are nearer to reception. The original pitches are shaded by mature trees but the newer terraces are more open but a lot of these pitches have individual services such as water, waste water, electricity (10amp) and TV points. The main building houses reception, a useful little shop and a bar / restaurant. Beyond the bar terrace is a swimming pool complex and nearby is a children's playground. The main toilet block is in the basement of the reception building. It is of a good standard. There are two other toilet blocks one of them being of a mobile type which is actually quite nicely done. Chemical toilet disposal is at one end of the site so a long walk from the newer pitches. The campsite offers a free WiFi service. In the low season Camping Cheques are accepted.
There are many opportunities for exploring the Ardennes from this campsite. La Roche en Ardenne being only a few miles away is a popular tourist destination. Reception will give you directions to the nearest supermarkets, although we liked the Dalhaize at Hotton.
