Just had a fantastic bank holiday weekend at Coldblow Farm. We were greeted at the gate and personally shown to the camping field. As we were fairy early we had the choice of pitches and chose one facing the horse field. On route to the field we were shown the showers, toilets and utility room (all with plenty of toilet paper all weekend). We were offered maps of the area and given directions to the local pub which we were able to walk to. The place was so peaceful, Such a shame we didn't find it earlier in the season but we will definitely be back next year.

We stayed here for two nights last year, we had a friendly greeting and were directed where facilities and camping field were.
The site is quite remote, but we like the peace and quiet away from the town, there are good walks along the downs with amazing views
Would visit again if the in the area

We visited this site at the end of our honeymoon which had taken in some really excellent sites in the south of England. The entry is rather daunting - a sign tells you that you must call a number and identify yourself, at which point you are given a code to enter the gates. There were no signs directing us to reception so we pitched up first and then went exploring on foot to pay. There are signs literally everywhere telling you to keep off and not to do things, even to the extent that I went to get rid of our rubbish on the morning of departure only to discover a notice on the bin telling me not to put anything in it and that they are sick of getting rid of campers' rubbish? I could not identify an alternative bin. The washing up area was good, and the toilets clean. There was a problem with the hot water in the shower block so the lady knocked £2 off my cousin's pitch and assured us the lodge would be open so we could use the alternative showers, but in the morning - freezing cold shower (which I had already paid for, thinking they had been fixed - this was one time where a notice would have been appreciated!) and lodge door locked. Not the most friendly and welcoming of owners, we will not be returning.

Read the name 'cold' and 'blow' and you're halfway to understanding the place. It's great for walkers, being just off the North Downs Way, but very exposed to wind and weather, within earshot of the M20 - really only heard in the distance at night, and under the London City Airport flight path.
This is primarily a 'camping barn' set up with a small field behind the equestrian facilities used for camping - full when we visited, with about ten pitches (mixed caravans and tents). Several permanent looking caravans parked here and there - and currently lots of building works going on.
OK facilities at one of the camping barns - coin showers, clean and modern WCs, but we never found any washing up facilities.
Very rural, and some great Kent villages surround, but as a campsite lacking in atmosphere

Set up a very narrow lane on top of the hill, close to A249 and good base for Kent County Show ground.
Basic, 2 loos which frequently were out of loo paper and 2 showers in makeshift cubical not finished at the time, about 10 tents and vans in the field behind the riding school.
Reasonably priced, was there over the bank holiday weekend, quite laid back and left alone apart from the first visit from the owner wanting her money straight away before could get tent out of the bag.
