Booked this as I had to attend an event nearby and this was a convenient location.
On arrival there was no one about so parked up and connected to the EHU, left to go to the local pub which offer a limited menu but food and beer was good. Arrived back at the unit and still no one about. Later on owners arrived home and I went to pay the fees.
There does not appear to be any facilities apart from the EHU so fees a bit on the high side at £25.
The road which runs alongside the site was not a problem and didn't keep me awake, but if your looking for a site with all the bells and whistles this is not for you.

Next to main road so no difficulty getting to the site with large units but road noise until later in evening. Good location next to canal with some hardstanding.
Rob the owner is very helpful. Just a two mile canal path walk in to Warwick. Opposite direction along the locks to a cafe and the Hatton Arms on the canalside. Can be used to visit many sites.
Very good value compared to other 5 van sites. Recommended and we will use again.

We stayed here as a stopover for a Warwick castle visit. Didn't arrive until 6:30 and we were gone by 9:15 so a fleeting visit. We stayed on the hard standing as we would have sunk on the field with the awful wet weather recently. Hard standing area is a Tarmac/ gravel area as you drive in. The field area for better weather looked lovely with well looked after grass. It is next to a main rd and we could hear rd noise early evening but was quiet through late evening and night and didn't disturb us. Owners very approachable and nice, this site is perfect as a base for visiting the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

Stayed on a stopover from Cheshire down to London. Really good spot for a fiver. Would definitely stay again. Really handy having an excellently stocked garage / shop very close by.
Nice spot next to canal, and road noise not a big deal. Warwick looks a lovely place and know from a past visit how good an attraction the castle is. Toilet, chemical point and water as facilities.

After reading the last review on this site, I chose to stay at Oaklands Farm and I was not disappointed. The only poor thing I can say about this site is the noise for the busy road which runs close by. Apart from that, the owner, Mr Butler was very pleasant, he asked for my camping club number as this is a CS site.
There is a loo and chemical disposal point adjacent to the bungalow. The small grass, well mown, field is adjacent to the side of the bungalow and there are also boarding kennels to the rear of the property but we did not hear any noise from them.
There is a five bar gate leading out of the site onto the tow path of the canal. It is a couple of miles walk into Warwick town and a nice walk westward up the canal to the Hatton Locks. You can sit in your rig and watch the narrowboats glide past the side of the site.
There is a garage next door which has a small shop for the small things eg milk etc and on the way into Warwick, there is a Sainsburys supermarket. All in all a lovely little site and one I shall return to in the future. The cost of £7.50 per night was well worth it.

This site was chosen purely for it’s location as we like to leave the campervan on site and walk, cycle or use public transport. It proved to be ideal for this. We were able to walk east to Warwick along the Grand Union Canal towpath, and then to Warwick Castle which was the main reason for our visit. We were able to get a train back to Warwick Parkway Station, which left us with just a short amble along the towpath back to the site.
The site is adjacent to the towpath, right next to one of the 21 Hatton Locks. It was a very pleasant walk westwards along the canal to the top of the locks. There is a nice café here and also a pub. Further along from here you can visit Hatton Country World.
Oaklands is a basic site, toilet, drinking water and a chemical disposal point, but it was only £5 per night at the time of our visit. The owner took our membership details when we booked in so you do need to be a Camping and Caravanning Club member. There is grass pitching with a gate giving access onto the towpath, and also a hardstanding area which was a bit like a small car-park but useful in wet weather. Next door is a petrol station where you can buy sweets, food-to-go, magazines and newspapers, etc
It is right next to a main road so traffic noise is to be expected, but we didn’t find it to be too noticeable during the 2 nights we stayed there. We are hoping to visit again next summer for a longer stay as there are lots of places of interest to visit in the area.
