 Stayed here middle of May 2018, site is easy to find adjacent to airport road. (Surprisingly very little intrusion of noise from airport). It’s a very large site split into two areas, mainly wooden 2/3 bed villas with one camping area with 38 plots in Dragonniere Section complete with private bathroom each. Very much a 5 star site designed to keep you entertained throughout your stay with swimming pools, shops, restaurants and children entertainment areas.
Can wander between each site, both immaculately kept grounds and pitch although worn from last years visitors were, it was well kept. Didn’t book and used ACSI with a choice of pitches. Electric at 10amps with water and waste on site. It is located away from anywhere and the main road is not one I’d like to cycle on. It’s very busy two way major road between towns. The site is designed with enough facilities to keep you there, it’s not ideal for beaches etc, or visiting outside by foot or cycle. If you like holiday camp, style places this is for you. Entertainment from early to late season can be heard throughout the campsite, but stops early at around 11:30 pm.
Would expect it to be manic in mid/high season, the access roads are well maintained but you need to take care getting to the pitches as they are narrow and have tight turns around the bungalows. No one way system. Pitches separated by hedges.
Costs a very reasonable 18 Euro per night with ACSI, but take note the tourist tax increases this to around 26 Euro. Most expensive tourist tax encountered in Europe! Still good value for the facilities though. Stayed for 4 nights and would likely return again if in this area.
Worthy of 5 star rating if your looking for an all-in holiday complex experience. But not all facilities open in early season, despite saying so on website. Some under renovation and opened on our departure. Trying to be a catch-all ‘hotel’ establishment offering meeting rooms etc, from a business prospective a great idea, as many of Sunelia sites are near airports.
