A great site in the south of France for sun and sand. Great pool and plenty of organised activities to keep your kids entertained. For us oldies its crash out time. Pitches are fairly large for South of France and are quiet and peaceful. Toilets are good with toilet paper and along with the showers are kept clean and tidy by the hard working staff. As you might expect the area is busy and although there may be sites to see in the area, the traffic was busy when we were there and so we spent our week on site which was very busy but never felt crowded. All in all, if you want a good site in the South of France you need look no further. Recommended.

This is a lovely site. The pitches are mostly large unusual for the South of France, with some having electric, water connection and waste. The pitches were in a circle around the elec etc so all felt secluded.
We did not use the showers as we used our own, but the toilets were fine a mixture of small for children, French non seated and 1 in each with a seat and unusually toilet roll was provided!
The pool was lovely, although busy as we stayed at peak time. Loungers were available. We only used the pool early morning and evening as the beach was wonderful and really quiet. It was so close to our pitch that we took our loungers with us! You could also walk for miles either way up the beach. The sea had a small step over a shelly patch then soft sand and shallow for a long way out, which was great for the children.
The restaurant was good and there was evening entertainment if you like that kind of thing.
There was plenty of cycle tracks (off road) great for the kids. We cycled the canal du midi toe path. We didn't stop in Sete except visiting the supermarket, but this looked nice. Cap'dagde was only 45mins away so we visited the Luna Park one evening.
I would definitely return.

Friends had been on this site for 2 weeks and we decided to met up with them as it appeared to have the best weather in the whole of France that week.
The pitches were set in a circle with hedges and the electric and water were in the middle of the circle, nice big pitches. We were lucky and just a row in from the beach.
We thought the site was great and didn't feel big for all that it offered. One of the easiest beaches to get to, just about 80 paces and your on it. Pool looked good but we didn't use it, heard someone say they are heating it next year as the site is now under new ownership.
Good little shop with fab croissants, a decent supply of stuff inc beach things.
Showers were good but a little dark.
Lovely bar area with a stage and we ate in the restaurant one night and had no complaints, proper pizza oven too if you want a takeaway.
Easy cycle paths outside the site and a bus stop, our friends went to sete on the bus. We have electric bikes to cycled a lot, saw flamingos on salt lakes. Cycled into the town past marina and a massive market was on, mainly clothing rather than food. Had a great plat de jour and l'epicurian and would highly recommend.
The only draw back was the wind when we were there, meaning you couldn't leave your awning up. We stayed 3 days with our friends before they moved on and we stayed another 2 as we liked it so much.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and it looks likely to improve with the new owners.

We originally intended to stay for 7 nights but extended our stay to 11 because we liked it so much. I chose this site because all of the services are open from the first day of the season. Restaurant, bar, pool and shop all open and very good. Wifi is free, and was good enough to watch TV on the ipad! The signal was consistently strong. The shop has freshly baked bread and croissants every day and has a bit of every thing, food, drinks camping, beach stuff. We used the restaurant twice and were very pleased with the meal and service. Even in low season there is a different activity at the bar each evening if you wish to take part. Wednesday was Moules Frites night, with live music which we enjoyed. The pool looked lovely and is supervised even in low season, didn't use the pool, but will next time we visit because the owner will install a pool heater for next year.
All pitches are serviced with their own tap, drainage and elec point. Most pitches have some shade; for the sun worshippers, the ones near the beach don't. All pitches are within a couple of minutes walk to a lovely beach.
The toilets were always clean and plenty of hot water, some of the shower rooms are huge.
All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. When you check in, you are invited to meet the owner in the bar at 6. 30pm, which we did and he made us feel very welcome.
I would definitely recommend this site and look forward to returning.
We paid only €18 using an ACSI card.
Don't arrive between 12 and 3pm in low season. Reception on long lunch.

We stayed here for 2 nights 19 and 20 June for 34 Euro in total using the Acsi card, . 2 adults plus 1 dog and electrics. Great little site. Shop on site, pool which was beautifully clean, bar and restaurant. Toilets basic but clean and showers plenty of hot water. Right on the beach although note that dogs are not allowed on beach but we always took her early morning and late evening as there is no one around then. Reception staff speak fairly good English and are very helpful. Please note thought that this site gets very busy mid June onwards and I would advise booking. You can walk into Frontignan Plage where there is a supermarket, bars and cafes but no much else. I would recommend this site as a good stopping off place on the Med Coast.

Regarding my previous review: the 'Aries' site is not now available. The electrics have been uprooted and the area is now fenced off. Local politics has now made this unavailable.
The site is still a place to visit with excellent facilities.
The new bus service outside the camp site makes it easier to travel about the area, especially to the local towns of Frontignan and Sete.
Not found in most camp sites; this camp site has water drainage, water and electrics on each pitch. Making life very easy for Motorhomes.

Les Tamaris is a popular site. If when you turn up, you find that you are turned away because it is full! Ask to be able to use the 'Aries' position. This a field, with firm ground, next to the camp site, has not the same facilities of the main site pitches, but, it does have electric. By being there one can peruse the vacant positions every day as others come and go. Also one can use the camp site facilities.
The toilet facilities are excellent as they have been improved recently. The camp shop has every thing! The restaurant has a variable menu, and sells English newspapers in high season.
