If we were ever in this area again we would drive miles to avoid this site. The only thing going for it was the location with the town/village being within walking distance. On arrival we were told that the only pitches that were available were 'comfort' pitches with their own facilities. We were not bothered about having a 'comfort' pitch but it was either take this or go somewhere else. We reluctantly agreed but were then forced to sign a disclaimer that we would forfeit our deposit of 50 Euros if any damage was found to our facilities on our departure. I think, in hindsight some of the confusion was lost in translation by the receptionist but she did not really put herself over very competently. On arrival at our 'comfort' pitch we were so amazed at the state of the sink, shower and toilet that we took photos as evidence of their condition should this be required the following day on our departure. There were no signs of any damage but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired - I don't think they had been touched since the last occupants left, whenever that was. It seems that this situation was also endured by the Dutch couple who arrived just before us and they were also having the same discussions as us as to whether to take the 'comfort' pitch or not. To add insult to injury there were scores of non 'comfort' pitches around the site with facilities only a short way away from them.

We stayed at this site for two years. The first year we had a standard pitch - quite cramped and within line of sight of the stage where they have evening entertainment, hence noisy until late in the evening. The next year we went for a 'grand comfort' pitch, which was quieter and had its own toilet and washing facilities. We certainly felt it was well worth the extra cost for the up market pitch. One warning - the ground is very hard and there are lots of stones so be prepared to spend time and energy getting the tent pegs in!
The site facilities are very good, and the staff are very helpful. However, the site doesn't appear to attract many Brits so the staff speak very little or no English. However, with our 'franglais' we managed to converse and didn't have any real problems.
The evening entertainment might not be everyones cup of tea - again its mostly in French. However, they have activities for kids and are very inclusive.
Lots to see and do in the area - gorgeous scenery within a short drive. The coast is also a short drive, but in August we found the beaches a bit too crowded!
