Great site run by very nice couple we have stayed there for quite a few years usually earlier in year. Found it very busy in august & because of COVID we were not able to travel earlier.
Hopefully next year we will go at our usual time of may until early july. This year run by new couple but just as good.
As we are retired couple we prefer a quieter time.

When approaching the site from Sommieres on the D6110, there is a nasty 160° turn down on to the very narrow site entrance.
Once in the site the roads are very narrow and crooked, causing problems for the larger units.
On the lower level of the campsite the pitches vary in size from snug to extremely large. Each is delineated by a substantial hedge and many mature broadleaf trees, which give considerable wind protection and shade. There are water points at nearly every pitch and electric points (10 amp) abound.
The sanitaires are modern, regularly and thoroughly cleaned, have good hot water in the showers. In the washing up area the water is less hot, but adequate.
There is a good sized swimming pool and various play activities for the younger child. An on site shop and restaurant are available. Wifi, at a price, is good.
There is a Carrefour Market at Villevielle (5km) Intermarche, Lidl and Aldi in Sommieres(9km).
The site is ideally placed for visiting the whole of the Gard department, from Aigue-Morte in the Camargue on the coast to St Jean en gard in the Cevennes with its tourist steam railway. Alès, Uzès, Nimes, pont du Gard are all about 40 minutes drive away.
For cyclists there is the very good Voie Vert Sommieres to Caveirac (22km) and another from Quissac to Sauve (6km)
The site is probably not wonderful for sulky teenagers, but is a haven of calm for the oldies.

We have stayed at other Kawan Village sites so we knew standards would be high at Mas de Reihle. Pitches for caravans (bookable through the Caravan Club) are at the bottom of the site and are demarcated by hedges. Size varies, but generally seem to be (just) big enough for caravan, awning and car. Your neighbours, who will very likely be English, will be very close company. Some pitches are shady, others more exposed. There is a new (probably 2013) unisex sanitary block which has a family/disabled shower room and baby-toddler room. Unusually for France toilet paper is provided but there are no seats. Everything was kept very clean, a task made difficult during a very rainy spell. There is entertainment most evenings, which can be noisy until 11pm or later and there are other activities during the morning from about 9am which can also be a bit noisy, so I wouldn’t describe Mas de Reihle as a particularly quiet site, not in high season anyway. Once a fortnight on Tuesdays there is a very loud disco which goes on till shortly after midnight - great if you like that sort of thing I suppose. A significant proportion of your fellow campers will be British (probably because of the Caravan Club connection), which you may find a positive or negative factor depending on your preference or not for a truly French holiday experience. For days out Sommières has a very attractive old part - lots of character-ful nooks and crannies! Also worth a look at are nearby villages such as Fontanes and Souvignargues. Vézénobres is definitely worth a visit. There is the well-known Voie Vert cycle route on the old railway route from Sommières to Nimes for relaxed cycling, or you can pick up a map of more strenuous VTT routes in Sommieres tourist office.
