Be very aware that the pitch sizes are advertised as a minimum of 80 metres squared. Both our pitch and another family member were placed on pitches just over half the size of the advertised - it was 45 metres squared.
You need to be aware that a lot of the pitches are unsuitable for touring caravans or tents as they have previously been used as a small area to park a couple of cars or where they have removed the lodges leaving behind broken concrete bases that you obviously can't pitch a tent on securely.
Strongly advise that you avoid any sites from Sandaya as many others have had similar problems. They really are not suitable as touring pitches unless you have a 2 man tent and a very small car.

Just come back from this site and were very impressed with it. The site is quite large and the pitches reasonably generous too, ours was very large on the corner of the main exit road, which was no bother.
The showers/toilet blocks were excellent, always clean, with plenty of loo rolls, (not always the case!).
The pools were very good but the restaurant was a bit disappointing, food mediocre surprising for France. The reception staff were helpful but disorganised; one girl did not seem to know what the others were doing.
However, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend the site and would happily stay there again if we were down there again

We stayed here for a week at the end of August 2012. We took the car on the Auto-Train from Paris to Frejus and drove about 30 minutes to St Raphael. The campsite has decent security, and we got on our pitch at 11am (they were relaxed about allowing us on early). Reception was excellent, good english spoken, well organised and explained the setup well.
We were allocated a pitch, which we were happy with so didn't ask to change. Pitch was hard (hard ground pegs were essential), but had shade running water and electrical hookup (and even TV socket which we didn't use).
Seemed like a large site from the map (we didn't even walk round the far flung pitches as we were reasonably close to all the amenities), but it never felt like a large site. It also appeared that there are more mobile homes that tent/caravan pitches, but that may just have been in the area we were, and that wasn't a problem.
Communal areas were excellent, 3 pools, one for small kids <8 years probably (ours are 6 and 8 and loved playing in it), then 2 larger pools one with a decent sized water slide, which the kids used loads. Plenty of seating round the pool, but did get quite busy. Showers toilet blocks were always clean, and surprisingly not busy, kids sized toilets were also provided. Site has on site laundry as well.
The restaurant was OK, stick to standard pizza and burgers, other food in the evening was relatively disappointing knowing how good food in France is generally. We used it mostly for lunches. There's a decent shop on site, selling fresh bread croissant etc, as well as other essentials. There's also a nightclub which we didn't try out, but were never bothered by the noise.
There's evening entertainment (on the cheesy side), but the kids loved it so we went along with it [normal sort of dancing/magic shows etc]. Staff were excellent, most spoke decent English, and were very helpful.
We went to the beach at Agay (5 mins drive) a couple of times and had a couple of decent meals down there as well. However the kids were mostly happy with the pools on site so we spent most of our time there. Also on site are mini-golf, table tennis, archery, boule and kids play area.
Overall I would definitely recommend the site, and would certainly return if we were ever back down that way.
