Lovely peaceful site (as off season).

Nice big pitch and the shower/toilet block was spotless.

Given a code for the showers and pool as we checked in.

Showers were a great temperature and plenty of pressure.

You need to take your own loo roll in to the toilets as it’s not provided.

Staff were friendly.

Indoor pool was open and looked nice, although we didn’t use.

Bar and restaurant closed but we knew that on booking.

Great site, half a mile (ish) to the supermarket and 1 mile (ish) to the small town.

Perfect for a 2 night stay. ?

When you approach the site you have to park over the road, walk across to check in and then they raise the barrier - if more than one unit arrived this might cause a problem. On check in you are given a token per person per night for the showers- so 2 nights 2 people - 4 tokens - bad luck if you want a shower on arrival and departure day. Shower doesn't stay on for very long - one lady said she was left stranded with shampoo on her hair. ! Mainly statics on site with small tourer area. Restaurat is about 400 yards along the road. Small gym, pool wasn't open when we there. A good idea is vending machines around the shower block - you never know when you might need chocolate. We would use the site again but only as a stopover.
