We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of out 3 week holiday to Italy. We picked this site as it was within an hour and a half of Cherbourg, and due to D Day restrictions was ideal we thought.
The site was everything we thought it would be. Welcoming and helpful staff. Covered pool on site, which we didn't use but others did. Easy walk into a very interesting town.
Supermarket within 5 minute drive. Bar and restaurant on site, open in the evening
Barrier is closed from 22. 00 to 08. 00. We asked if we could leave at 0700 as some of the route to Cherbourg was closed on D Day and we didn't want to take any chances. No problem, barrier was unlocked at 0700.
Will definitely use this site again.

This is the third or fourth time we’ve used this site.
It has everything we need, good level pitches and a good, basic bar/restaurant in the evening.
There is an attractive walk round the lake into town.
At the other end of town there is a good sized Carrefour and an excellent vet.
The site is convenient as a first or last stop when travelling via Cherbourg.

We used this site as a stop-off at the end of our holiday, mainly to take the dogs to the vets before getting the ferry from Ouistreham.
On paper it had everything we wanted - it was open in October, had 10 amp electric, easy access from the A84 motorway, good dog walking directly from the site, a short drive to a recommended vet, close to a pleasant, small town with various supermarkets and was a reasonable price with the ACSI card - and in this regard the site lived up to expectations.
However, on arrival the site had a very "end of season" feel - the grass pitches and hedges on the older part of the site where we were given a pitch desperately needed cutting, and the narrowish access roads were tricky to negotiate, especially round the corners to get to the pitches, again mainly due to overgrown hedges. Our pitch was a good size, but some others were much smaller and odd shapes!
All the facilities (pool, snack bar etc) were closed, which was not an issue for us, but things just seemed a bit scruffy and unkempt. Reception was open with reduced hours and the lady on check-in was efficient rather than welcoming, though I did manage to engage her in conversation on another day.
The newer part of the site (which we discovered once set up, otherwise I would have asked to move) had open pitches with much shorter grass and divided by newly planted hedges, and there was also a newly developed motorhome area, next to the statics area of the main site but with a separate entrance.
Entrance to the site was directly off the busy road into the town, well-used by heavy goods vehicles, and there was noticeable traffic noise through the day, especially at the top part of the site next to the road.
In the evenings and overnight, however, it was very much quieter. Security was good, with an entry/exit barrier operated by a tag provided on check-in, and the gate to the path around the lakes was key-pad operated.
We would use this site again if we needed to be in this area for a short time, due to it meeting most of our requirements and because of the excellent nearby vet.

We stayed just the one night on a cycle-touring trip around Normandy. We hadn't booked but the campsite was fairly quiet - it was a Friday just before the half-term holiday. The staff were friendly & I was surprised at how cheap it was - unfortunately can't remember the exact cost but you can check on their website. Pitches were nice & flat & a generous size. Our two two-man back-packing tents took up a small fraction of our allocated area. The facilities were very good; excellent toilet block which was kept clean & a bar which contained a small shop. My boys enjoyed the outdoor pool & basketball/football pitch.
We bought our food from an Aldi supermarket a short distance, approx 1/4 mile, from the campsite.
We didn't explore the town of Torigni but it seemed quite nice as we cycled through en route to the campsite.
We would definitely visit again if we are in the area.
