Fantastic site, one of our favourites.
Friendly, helpful staff. Immaculate facilities. Great location.
Good sized pitches, some terraced other flat. Would recommend pitches at back of site behind second toilet block,
We normally avoid site entertainment but we did go to the bar a couple of times and the acts were superb.
Various free activities for the kids during the week including electric karts, pedal karts and bouncy castles. On top of free mini golf, tennis, ping pong, play park, pool, water slides etc. Still didn't feel too commercial so suited us perfectly.
Free wifi but pretty slow.
Shop had fresh bread but otherwise very sparsely stocked.
Significant British contingent (ca. 40%) first week we were there, but much greater mix second week.

The site itself is clean and well organised. Small shrubs or trees delineate pitches. They smaller pitches, one of which we used, average 90m2. There are a number of chalets along with pitches.
Wi-fi on site is free for one hour per day, otherwise it is chargeable unless you are using camping cheques, in which case it is free all the time. It’s quite slow compared to my fibre service at home (in fact, it can at times be as fast as a garlic-buttered escargot!) but it's fine for web-browsing and sending the odd email but not much good for uploading lots of photos!
Camping cheques were accepted from the 17th August (16th August next year).
The pool complex consists of a pool that is about 1. 0 – 1. 5m deep and a small area that is no more than 8” deep for the toddlers / babies to use. These are covered pools and I think they must be heated too. There are four slides: three faster ones that are lanes and one curlier one. They all end in a bracing splash pool! The sun terrace adjoining the pools is quite large and there were plenty of loungers available.
The restaurant/bar/entertainment/shop area is adequate. The shop is sparsely stocked, but then there are two large supermarkets about five/ten minutes drive away. The bread and croissants etc are delivered daily, including Sundays and are of a good quality. Bread was €1. 10 for the largest loaf.
The food offered is simple – burger, sausage, pizza etc and the chips were €2 per portion, but they were generous helpings.
The evening entertainment was not something we bothered with except for one night when we watched the magician and he was excellent! The noise from the bar area at night can be quite loud but our pitch was far enough away for it not to be an issue.
The staff also organised for children’s entertainment to visit the campsite. For example, there were trampolines and a bouncy castle one day, electric cars another. These were free to use and I can imagine in the height of the season there being long queues. There are organised kid’s clubs but we did not bother with them.
The staff were always helpful and obliging. I don’t speak French and they did their best to speak in English (some with a high degree of fluency).
We would definitely consider returning.

The site is outside Pornic, the instructions to get there where straight forward and, without Sat Nav, we got there very easily. (As you get close follow the signs and turn almost opposite the restaurant.) the side road to the campsite is tight in places.
The reception staff were extremely helpful and escorted us to our pitch. There was plenty of information about the area in the reception area as well as WiFi access. The site provided the electrical plug for the hook up.
The pitches are quite small on the terraced sections but at the top of the site we had quite a spacious pitch. Access to the top of the site was quite tight in places.
The toilet blocks have male and female sides. The male side of our block only had one shower however we never really had trouble queueing for it. The chemical toilet emptying point is in the gents side of the toilet. The toilets were kept spotless.
The site swimming pool was covered and was just off a very nice sun terrace, the kids enjoyed the water slides. The site are quite strict about wearing speedo type trunks. There are games areas and a play park for small kids as well as a very good mini golf area.
The bar and shop were basic,as was the food it, burgers or pizzas with loads of chips.
All in all we really enjoyed staying on this site and would definitely go back there.
