Motor Caravanners club rally.
Large flat field, mown grass.
Next to river Medway with lots of moored pleasure crafts.
Fair walk from Toilets/facilities. Waste etc.
Pleasant walks by river in both direction.
Shop 3/4 mile. Pub. Saw several deliveries of takeaway foods.
Several extra facilities could easily be added!
Next to river kids/dogs need supervising.
This rally was pre organised/ cus service not needed

Can't believe there is only one other review. This site is not far from me and is regularly used.
Beautiful quiet site near the medway next to the marina. No facilities on site but you don't need them as, if you want a get away from it all site, this is the one.
The entrance is virtually on the level crossing and looks worse than it is as boats go in and out all the time. The owner is the most laid back man I have met.
Drive through the gates and 1/4 mile further on, there is the caravan field. You will be given the access code for the toilet and then is a hose at the marina office.
The field is well kept by the rabbits (tens of them). There is a small area for a bbq and a wooden bench is provided. Beautiful walks along the medway and sit back and watch the boats motor up and down.
Only slight drawback its next to a railway but its a spur line so not very busy. Suitable for trips to Maidstone and and surrounds and a £5 a night a real bargain.
Close by is a pub and a Chinese take away so a virtually perfect spot.

Lovely little spot, next to the River Medway with pleasant riverside walks in either direction. Short drive to Maidstone.
Basic facilities and no hook up,although this is more than reflected in the price. At the time of our visit it was £4.50 per night. Good pub with good real ale and excellent takeaways 5 min walk.
(Public right of way through site)
We expect to return often.
