We booked a pitch for our tourer, after having stayed in one of their statics a few weeks earlier. Nice, clean and convenient for local amenities. There's only about a dozen pitches for tourers and the facilities are limited but there is a little shop and nice café on site (and a Chinese take away across the road. ) We liked it!

The touring area seems almost an after thought on this site. A number of the concrete bases are very close together and with the added obstructions of trees and electrical equipment it would be virtually impossible to put up an awning on these pitches. There is no Elsan facility, waste has to go down the toilets in the shower block and no dish washing facility.
The shower block is good but not all shower cubicles had hooks to hang clothes and 50p for a five minute shower was I think expensive.
There is a level crossing from the site across a fairly busy two track railway onto the cycle track but then it is a good 3oo metres in either direction to actually access the beach.
When approaching the site from Pensarn it is not clear which site is Tw - Gwyn, there is no sign facing that direction. We missed the entrance because the sign was actually on the recessed wall beside the gate and it is not easy to turn round on this road.

We stayed here on bank holiday weekend. Nice quiet site, clean toilet and shower block. The staff in the cafe were very friendly and helpful. Two minute walk to the beach and coastal path. Only 10 mins from A55, ideal base for visiting Rhyl Towyn Llandudno or Conwy.
The only downside is no chemical waste point and no children's play area, like swings or climbing frame. Although looks like there's plenty of room for one. Would I stay again - yes

Lovely clean site with newly refurbished toilet blocks,
bad points being: no proper place to empty chemical toilets, you have to empty them in the toilet which made a mess. Shop and cafe on site shop sells basics such as milk, eggs and bread cafe offers Sunday lunch and the usual burgers chips etc.
Lots of open spaces for children to play but no play park with swings.
Very close to beach and the coastal path runs past the site so a lovely walk or bike ride is a must. Towyn is just 10 minutes walk away we would visit this site again.
