Too steep really for Motorhome but the website does warn you of this
Otherwise clean facilities,
Fab views from the restaurant and only an hour from port at Bilbao

Most of Spain thinks the holidays end on 17th September. So no shop, no bar, no swimming pool.
The sanitaries however are new and superb and well worth E21/ night.
The pitches are small and tight - ok for campervan and awning but not anything larger. Elec included.
Metro to Bilbao 20mins walk, beach 10mins superb.
Turns out it was E42 per night out of season so we won't be coming back and it gets 0 for value for money.
Forgot to mention the restaurant but that was shut too.
Nice beach but red flagged one day as sea too rough.

It was ok. The pitches were cramped.
The toilet and shower block were new and plentiful. The restaurant and bar was nice ( food could have been better).
The pool was ok but cold and there wasn’t any parasols to shade from the sun.
It is close to the beach.
Great for groups of young surfers. We probably wouldn’t return.

This site is not in the Acsi book, I found it through Google for ease of getting to the port for the ferry (30 mins away)
This site is NOT open all year, they opened today March 1st. Slightly tatty site but with a brand new shower block, only downside to that is it is open to the elements with no door or heating and being very close to the sea, the wind can rattle through at a pace.
As rain is due we were told to park on the tarmac between pitches to save sinking in the soft earth. €20 a night for the tarmac but would have been €29. 95 if we had been on grass !
Chap at reception was very helpful.
Wifi only around the bar area, which looks really nice. Power is 16amp

This site has a general untidy look. In June it was out of season and the pool. Shop and restaurant were closed. The toilet block was clean but in the men's there was no hot water and the ladies had hot water on one day out of the two we stayed. There was no hot water for dish washing. The main reason for going to this site was the ease of getting to the center of Bilbao. There is a very good metro train right to the center. It took us just under 25 minutes to walk to the station although more optimistic times were suggested at the very pleasant reception! The beach is about 10 minutes away.

We stayed in our camper van for 5 days and thought it was a great campsite. We had young children and it was safe with a good playground and kids pool. The restaurant was very good with local people eating there at the weekends. The beach is about 10 minute's walk away. It was lovely and sandy although the sea was rough.

On our return from Galicia in October 2009, we were looking for a site near to Bilbao so that we could visit the Guggenheim Museum. This is the nearest place to the city and the town of Sopelana is on the Metro which is a fantastic way of getting into Bilbao. We spent 2 very full days in the city.
However, although the campsite is well located, we were very disappointed with the touring facilities. The plots were small and not well positioned and even with our small Eriba were difficult to get into and out of. The toilet and washing facilities were in a run-down state and not very clean and did not appear to be cleaned while we were there. Most of the site is given over to permanent (rather elderly looking) bungalows.
There is a large restaurant and bar which was open at week-ends and obviously very popular with non-campers, with free WiFi access in the bar. It is 'outside' the actual camp area and accessed by keycard.
If you want to visit Bilbao - and I would recommend the city - this is the easiest way if you are camping or caravanning, but ONLY as a base.

This isn't a proper review because we haven't actually stayed there but have tried to! Hopefully this information will be useful.
This looks to be a good site quite near the sea and countryside but on the metro railway line into Bilbao.
However, it is impossible to pre-book and the only way to get a pitch seems to be to arrive early in the morning and wait for someone to leave - not the best way to arrange things.
