Very nice site, well organised, clean and tidy.
Tv signal was good, plenty to keep the kids entertained, nice walk round the site.
The pay showers put us off waiting for them, so we used the one in our caravan and the access to site is a narrow single track lane, other than that it was great.

Nice site, with chickens and ducks running around. Also donkeys and shetland ponies in the lower paddock. The warden hadn't been told the same price I had been told by the owner, who was unfortunately in hospital. Luckily I had the email on my phone to confirm it was £10 per night rather than £15. Glad we only paid the lower amount as we chose too leave two days early!
The toilets are not great. We've used toilets in shipping containers before, but these were dark, grubby and freezing! We didn't use the showers! Also the ladies door is kept closed by a plant pot, so when you go in, only open it a fraction to squeeze in and leave the pot to keep it propped open, otherwise it will swing wide open and bang against the container!
The pitches were nicely done with lots of bamboo between pitches. The track between the pitches was a bit tight to manoeuvre for our large rig without motor movers, but we managed it in the end!
You can see they are investing in the site to improve it and the husband did see us on the last day to tell us what they are doing, which includes a clubhouse.
We didn't go on any local walks, but we did drive down to Pendine sands and the beach at Llansteffan. This was much closer and a lot nicer than Pendine, in our opinion! Carmarthen is quite a big town with all the shop you can imagine. Our car needed to go to the garage as the brakes needed doing and the guys at ATS went out of their way to help us, even giving us a lift back to the site with our dogs as they had to keep the car overnight.
Everyone was very nice and helpful. We even had a lady try to find a pub in the town that would let us in with the dogs as it was raining. Very Friendly.

This was my second visit to this campsite, I have enjoyed my stay from day one.
It is ideally located for visiting other areas of interest. The owners are very helpful and friendly and work hard to maintain the pitches which are quite level, much better than I have experienced at numerous other sites.
The shower/toilet block is clean and adequate for a campers needs.
I shall be visiting Church House Farm again in the future.

The one shower in the ladies has a hair ball blocking the plug hole and I could not date when it was last cleaned. There was no hot water in the men's toilet block. The toilet/shower blocks are converted shipping container which would not be so bad if they were clean and you did not have to keep moving the plant pot to get in through the door. You had to switch the hot water on in the ladies but when ever you touched the switch blue flashes appeared. The good thing was the picnic benches around the site. Whilst we were trying to relax in the evening they decided to empty the bins then burn the rubbish so after 30 minutes of clanking we were driven out by acrid black smoke. Unfortunately the local pub was not open in the evenings.

We have been camping and motorhoming for a great many years, and were very impressed by 'Crossroads' The toilet block was good quality, spotless and up-to-date. The best we have seen in UK. The owner gave us a really warm welcome and offered her help should we need it.
The site is flat, very clean with the grass cut to just the right length, and the clippings cleared up
And on top of that, it was only £10. We will certainly use this site again, and suggest if you are anywhere near Llandrindod Wells you should give it a try.

We only stayed for nights. A very lovely site and very friendly owner. There was no lights on at night so, I would recommend taking a torch! very clean and well maintained.
It was a little bit difficult to find the site as it is not well sign-posted. Plenty of things to do and nearby attractions are about half and hour drive or there's the local market town.
We didn't mind the animals on the farm as there was minimal noise and good toilet facilities - though the timer for the lighting, was a bit of a pain if you use the shower.
Overall a lovely site.

Very beautiful, quiet, well maintained site. Large laid out plots, which are level and well drained. Owners were lovely and nothing was too much trouble.
Younger families would love the chickens, ducks and rabbits and also children's playground.
The site is easily accessed, but signs for the site are small
Yes, the only downside was the toilet block, but if you don't mind 'roughing it' a bit - the other positives more than make up for it. For a quiet rest we thoroughly recommend it and will definitely return.

We picked this site for its location for a short break, on arrival, we were pleasantly greeted and told that we could set up on the pitch of our choice (20 pitches).I think its 15 with hookups (16amp) We pitched up with fantastic views over the valley in front of us.
The price in low season is £12.00 per night, add £3.00 per night if you want to put up an awning. We thought this was expensive for the time of year.
The site is well kept and tidy.
The only down side being, The Gents loo smelt and the ladies toilet was dirty with no paper towels and the floor is starting to rot.
We were told that the showers didn't have any hot water but not when they would be repaired.
There are chickens and ducks and also a couple of rabbits in a run and also a kids play area. The site is 4 miles south of the main A40 trunk road with easy access and is signposted just before entering the village.

I'm surprised no-one has reviewed this site before?
We found this place late one night after trying to find a campsite close to Carmarthen. I think it was only a tenner for the night. That's a campervan, two adults and electricity.
Nice, quiet location. We were the only people on the site though some other caravans were present, but probably saved there as storage.
The site keeper was a pleasant man. The location was nice and peaceful. Maybe the sign off the main road could be more prominent though.
The toilet block is actually a portacabin, but ideal when there's no-one else on site.
All in all a nice night's camping.
