 A mess around the entrance is an under statement, it looks like a gypsy camp, there was a lot of building materials and vehicles parked up ! And the pub on site was shut down !
We did struggle to find the camp, we drove up and down the road 3 or 4 times and called in at the wrong park,
Its a lovely part of the world with great views, but the park is not a good view on arrival !
Nearest shop / takeaway was about 1 mile away if not more,
Nothing for kids the camp was just in a field, which may be what some people want, but this was our first night camping and not what we expected !

I have stopped on this site on many occasions both with the bsa owners club and with my two children. I have always found the locals and staff to be very pleasant and service has always been good. There isn't much for kids to do but they always seem to find plenty to entertain them.
Nearby attractions are plentiful and some great walks are but a small drive away. My only complaint would be that there seems to be a bit of a mess starting to build up just on the entrance to the campsite. But otherwise I've no real complaints.
Cheap an cheerful, hope to return later this year for a bevvy with the locals.
