Just stayed 3 nights. Very small site even though advertised as 2 acres waterlogged in most areas. Difficult to find dry area to pitch on, pitched on a very small raised section next to bushes but puddles/very muddy walking to elsan/bins. Only 1 hardstanding and 1 hook up post (had to trail my wire across the waterlogged field to hook up. No TV signal but owner has a satellite dish set up in bushes. Needed extremely long lead which owner lent us. No views as mentioned in handbook as it is surrounded by tall trees/bushes.
We was asked to park our vehicle away from caravan on gravel to protect the grass so had to walk through 'boggy' field to and from car.
Site is handy for visiting Garstang, Lancaster & Blackpool.
Wont return due to the above mentioned as there are plenty other CLs in the area with hardstanding pitches.

Once again another visit to a great little CC CL site, only short walk to the village, where there is a good pub with food, and the garden centre with restaurant. Village shop selling great ice cream. The site itself has a duck pond, and plenty of ducks, (and duck muck ) The site can be a bit soft in places after rain ( only one hard standing ) but James the owner has wheel tracks available, and hook up leads for use if needed. Motorway noise can be heard, but not a problem (after a couple of beers ) Sorry to say the only down site was the elsan emptying point was full, and not a very pleasant experience. Apart from this a great little site, well worth a visit
