Stayed in our Motorhome with 3 sisters who hired Woodbine Cottage. Booking wasn’t easy because I had to keep going back to check with my sisters to confirm things. However Tim was so patient.
We understood we were to pitch ourselves on arrival but with a long Motorhome we couldn’t fit on but a phone call to Tim and he was there to sort us out immediately. Then he kindly helped carry cases to the cottage, which was a delightful place to stay.
We walked to Trusthorpe and when it rained Dee text to suggest a place to go. How kind is that?
Excellent location for walking to Sutton on Sea Trusthorpe or Mablethorpe. Plus there is a bus stop at the end of the road with a regular service.
I have underscored on value for money as we pay less for sites with no shower but I would pay the £25 to use the site in future.
Cannot say enough nice things about this site and the owners. We will return.

Been here before the site is well laid out always very clean and very well run.
Shower areas excellent.
It's quite a walk to the beach and a longer walk to the town we have a dog and we enjoy the walk.
We will return to this site my daughter and her husband are going next week

Very disappointing, on arrival in the dark there was a sign saying site yourself. Never even came over to check we were OK throughout the weekend.
My friend rang and he said they were full when there were 2 empty pitches. They found a site just up the road which was only metres away and a million times better than Breakwater.
Just rude, we will never return. Location was good but site not good at all.

Lovely friendly site, 50mtrs from a fantastic dog friendly beach, situated between Mablethorpe and Sutton on sea, easy walk to both along the promenade where there is plenty of shops and loads of dog walks nearby.
Huttoft beach Terrace is lovely for a picnic and worth a visit also The seal sanctuary at North Somercotes is a must when the pups are being born.
Very friendly owner who work hard to keep the facilities spotless.
£15 a night inc hook up no extra for dogs or awning excellent value for money. Cant wait to visit again soon.

Only stayed a night so didn't really experience much but the owner seemed nice very friendly and helpful.
The site itself wasn't clear to find from the road and looks like it needs a bit of work doing to it !
Didn't use the toilet/shower so don't know what they was like, ideal location for exploring the surroundings areas.

Lovely site very quiet and relaxing, dog friendly and within 50mts of a beautiful stretch of beach.
Love the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach, If you want pubs and restaurants its approximately 2 miles from Mablethorpe and 2 miles from Sutton on Sea,
Some lovely walks from the site always plenty to do if that's what you want,
We booked for 2 weeks and ended up staying 3, love this site, the owner Tim and Dee are a really helpful and can't do enough for guests.
The site is open all year and at £15 a night inc electric its good value for money. The site

We stayed at Breakwater Touring Caravan & Motorhome Park [a CL] for 4 nights in early November 2018. The website access instructions are spot on but the lane down to the site entrance is a bit narrow, esp. If other cars are parked on the side of the road.
Whilst the site is predominantly grass, there are two dedicated hardstandings just off the entrance road. One was a tight fit for our 7. 5m long motorhome &, even though we were as far back as we could go, we still slightly blocked the entrance road.
The drinking water tap & refuse bins are adjacent to the site but the CDP is back up the track towards the owners house - just behind what looked to be a mobile toilet/shower block well past it’s usefulness. Thus there are no toilets or showers available on this site at the moment.
The attraction of the site for us was that you can walk through the gate at the bottom of the site, over the dunes & concrete promenade onto miles of sandy beach. In the winter months dogs are allowed on all the beaches but, in summer, restrictions do apply in certain areas. So it is best to check exactly where you can & can’t allow your dogs to “beach comb”!
As Trusthorpe is equidistant between Mablethorpe & Sutton on Sea you are spoilt for choice as to which way to head. The promenade runs beyond both towns and is awash with walkers, cyclists, dogs & mobility scooters!
A good “find” and one to return to in the future.

Just returned from a very enjoyable 3 nights at this delightful location.
Level field close to the sea. On the down side this site say there is toilet and shower facilities this was not evident and should be changed,
despite this great little bolt hole ideal for a short break.
