Stayed on this site for 2 nights in July. The site has well laid out, with pitches suitable for any size of unit. The amenity block is well kept with free showers. There is a well equipped laundry room and even a lend library if you have time to sit and read. We didn't have time for that as the town is so close and there is a lovely Riverside Walk just outside the site. The site owners Anne and Charles make everyone so welcome. We couldn't recommend this enough.
Lovely and well cared for little site with good facilities. Pitches a little on the small size. Owners very helpful and friendly. Situated in nice little town close to all amenities, three good supermarkets close by. Easy walk to waterfront. Cycle routes pass close by. Nice site just to relax on or to use as a base for seeing surrounding area.
Had been going to Dungloe for many years but this was the first time staying in a caravan at the camp site. Stayed for a weekend in May and had a very pleasant surprise. The site is small and well maintained with good facilities. It is very convenient for walking into the town which has supermarkets and several pubs and restaurants. The gate is closed to cars at 11pm which ensures a peaceful night. Have booked to return in July and am looking forward to it!
This is a small site but a lovely one. Owner was very friendly and the facilities were excellent. Very cheap too. Showers were clean and the camper's kitchen was in good condition. Wasps were a problem so we bought lots of insect sprays etc. Didn’t help. Dungloe is gorgeous plus the surrounding areas. Next to the Gaeltacht area so got to use some of my Irish! I have visited this site on numerous occasions!
We used this site when the nearby Sleepyhollows site was full and the truth be told this site was twice as good with better facilities and cheaper. We paid 17 euros for the nigh with hookup. The toilet and shower block was pristine as was the washing up facilities. The site itself had around space for 20 caravans on hard standing pitches in a nice grounds. The village centre of Dungloe was about 5 minutes walk. I'd recommend this site for anyone touring through Donegal for the Rosses and Glenveagh national park as well as Tory Island and Arranmore.
