This is a well run site with good amenities. Wes and Tuesday were very helpful and welcoming. The vibe here is calm.
Pizza oven is an inspired idea. I was here as an only guest during November but was treated I feel in the same way a visitor would be in high season.
I can see there would be lots to keep families occupied on the site. The River walk is beautiful.
Will definitely come again.

We picked this site initially because of the easy fishing access to the River Lung - on site - as well as the numerous fishing opportunities in the local area. However, as the non-fisherman in the family I too enjoyed the beautifully laid out site, the quiet surroundings (occasionally an odd moo from the local cows) and the cleanliness of the facilities, as well as the friendliness of the site owners Lin and Dave.
It was a short drive into Ballaghadeerren to pick up all you might need at the local supermarket or visit one of the pubs. The Fiddlers Elbow was friendly and we enjoyed a nice meal there. We enjoyed a scenic walk upto the Carrowkeel megalithic tombs resulting in spectacular scenery over Lough Key and Lough Arrow. Also close by was the Lough Key experience for all the family.
The site is flat and well laid out with well spaced hard standings for caravans and motorhomes and lots of space for tents.
The weather also stayed pleasant for the week we visited.
