 This site is a little gem of a find and I have booked to return later in the year.
The owners are lovely and greet you soon after you arrive.
The 5 pitches are in a lovely level well kept paddock with EHU and water.
There is a huge field to walk the dog which leads out to a gated orchard and the many footpaths to explore around the area.
There are horses and alpacas in the adjacent field which are entertaining to watch, and the star of the show is the Welsh Collie Bryn who is just a darling!
The toilets and showers are spotless and the information board has everything you need to plan your days out and about in the Essex/ Suffolk Countryside.

I don't know if I should be completing this review as it may mean more of you use this CL and then the peace and tranquillity will be lost.
This is a Caravan Club CL that takes 5 units and is situated in a paddock at the rear of the house. Access from the road is a bit tight but shouldn't cause to much of a problem. The site is level and well drained. The grass is in an excellent condition with no muddy patches.
There is a building on site that contains a toilet, sink and shower, the building itself is a bit rustic but OK,the shower is new (the old one was replaced during our stay). There is a separate charge for the shower.
Electric hook up is available and apart from the horses in the surrounding fields and a bit of road noise from Straight Road exceptionally peaceful.
Across the road there is a garden centre with a tea room that also provides meals during the day including Sunday lunch. There is also pick your fruit where the small shop also sells fresh local vegetables and other produce.
Colchester with all that can offer is ten minutes away.
For the wine buffs, Carters Vinyard, is only a mile away offering tours and tasting.
All in all a great CL that I will be returning to again and again.
