We have a 26ft long twin axle and it is important for us to have easy access and after speaking to Trevor he gave us advice on the best way to approach the site. This meant there were no unpleasant surprises to spoil our arrival.
The pitches were well spaced and very flat so no levelling needed, Basic amenities but not a problem to us. The Adults Only policy is sensible as the road that passes the site is close and quite busy at times. Road noise was louder where we were pitched but it did not impinge on our comfort.
The nearest store is in Bilsby and it is a garage, post office and and Spar shop.
Whilst we were on site Sue and Trevor had potatoes, delicious strawberries. Lettuce and free range eggs available, Sue also baked a fruit cake for us to take home for a very reasonable fee.
The site is only about 40 miles from our home and it is the shortest distance we have ever travelled.
We stayed for 14 nights and as there was no-one waiting for our space we made a leisurely departure,
Will we be going back ?Yes for a nice weekend break.

Great site a few miles from brilliant beaches.
Dog friendly with quiet lanes for walks between the fields. Lovely owners who do all they can to make your visit pleasant. Free range eggs available as well as superb home made cakes.
Facilities are clean and tidy and recycling is encouraged.
Adjacent B road provides easy access but if turning left into the site give yourself a bit of room. The road is not very busy but you will hear traffic, no problem for most people though, unless you're used to absolute silence!
Thoroughly recommended.

Booked this CL site on the spur of the moment, not having visited before. We were certainly not disappointed.
The site is level, with large, well kept grass pitches, basic & clean toilet disposal area and although backing on to a busy B road, is very quiet and peaceful.
Sue and Trevor the owners, are very helpful and friendly without being obtrusive and Sue sells the most gorgeous homemade cakes! We also were able to buy fresh eggs from their own free range hens, which were really nice.
Being only a few miles from the coast this is a little gem of a site to which we will certainly return.
Oh and our labrador Harvey, had loads of fuss and cuddles too, from these two lovely people!

We have just arrived home after spending the bank holiday weekend at this site.
We booked very last minute so weren't sure what to expect from the site.
When we arrived quite late Friday evening we got a warm and friendly welcome from Trevor and Sue.
They gave us a choice of two available pitches we choose a pitch at the side of the entrance which backed onto a hedge row.
There was a road at the back of our pitch which we could here the traffic from but as it's not a busy road so this wasn't a problem.
Each pitch also had it's own picnic table which we were told we were free to put where we wanted although we didn't use the picnic table it was nice that it was available to us.
They also explained about the local area and where we could find the local shop, pub and takeaway. We didn't use any of these as we visited other areas that we knew and got all our food and shopping from there.
Although the site was basic and only offered drinking water and waste disposal point the area these were situated in was kept very clean and tidy.
The dustbin area was also very clean and tidy and there was a recycling system set up which was very good.
We spent 4 nights at this site all of which were very enjoyable and the site was noise free all of time we were there we never heard any of the neighbours even through the day.
We had originally only booked for 3 nights but we enjoyed it that much we went to see if we could stay for an extra night.
Has no one was booked onto our pitch for Monday night we were able to stay for the extra night which was great as it meant we got the spend the full day Monday there and as we were going home Tuesday morning It meant we would miss all the bank holiday traffic.
It is a great site if you want to relax and it's also dog friendly.
We will be telling everyone we know about this great site and we are hoping to return ourselves in the near future.

Just returned from a week at this CL site. What a gem! Trevor and Sue the owners were fabulous. They gave a warm welcome and went out of their way to help us settle in and get the best from our visit.
Each pitch had its own picnic table which was a lovely touch, and the water and elsan was conveniently located in the corner of the field.
The field is level and there is plenty of room between pitches.
We took advantage of Sue's homemade cakes and highly recommend the fruit cake and Victoria Sponge. We also bought half a dozen fresh eggs which tasted gorgeous.
The nearest beach is at Sutton on Sea and is worth a visit. If you take the coast road toward Skegness there are many turning off points where you can park up and get down to the beach as well. The beaches were clean and deserved their awards.
Our favourite visit was to Woodhall Spa and we also spent a couple of enjoyable hours at the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Worth every penny of the £5 entrance fee.
We ate one meal at the Anchor Inn in Alford which serves Italian food in the evening. It was the best Italian food we have eaten outside Italy and even inside Italy! The chef is the landlord's wife and we enjoyed both the food and the company.
This is an adults only site which suited us. At £10 a night we thought it was good value for money. Getting there was easy although the turning into the field is a little sharp but it is on a quiet road so not a problem.
This site gets a 10 out of 10 from us.
