We only stayed the 1 night as in transit,
The site is eclectic, but the facilities are great clean and well maintained,
The lady on reception was brilliant,
In season I think the location is fantastic!
Highly recommend

Another visit to Camping Monmar, everything as it was last year - pretty well perfect.
We did try the restaurant this year, good set dish of the day 3 course meals for €12. The cafe and bar are open daily -except on a Monday.
Worth saying again that the staff at Monmar are one of the biggest assets, also helpful, always working away to improve the sight and nothing is too much trouble.
The beach area is very quiet in winter, but several cafes and bars are open and we found them to be reasonably busy most days. The town has a more lively feel with plenty of people around in the shops and cafes.
Not sure if its been mentioned before but the site does not allow any dogs on pitches.
If you are looking for somewhere peaceful with plenty of good walking and cycle paths then would highly recommend this site.

Great site with very friendly reception with good English. Site was immaculate, most pitches had shade, some with overhead sun protection and it's own sink for washing up. Facilities were very clean. There is a bar/restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, kiddies play areas, boules etc. Pebble beach is a short walk from site and main town with supermarkets is between 15 and 30mins walk depending on which bit. We were there in late September and the area local area seemed very quite and lifeless indeed.

We came for a night and stayed seven! That speaks for both the campsite and the area.
Campsite first - its a very clean and well kept site. Loos and showers first class and cleaned regularly. All pitches are fully serviced, the bar and restaurant open even in winter. Free wifi around the restaurant area, or paid its €12 for a week.
And last but not least the staff - every one of them friendly, helpful, cheerful and most speak great English.
The area - the site is at Moncofa Plage, mainly a beach resort with lots and lots of apartments, bars and cafes. In winter a few cafes and bars are open but its very quiet. The town of Moncofa is 20 minutes walk, has all the shops you could need including a large Mercadona and another supermarket.
There are numerous good cycle paths in the area, you can ride for miles off-road on tarmac paths through the orange groves, or along the coast on quiet lanes.
The walled village of Marcell is a 30 minutes cycle ride away and well worth the visit. Also the caves at Vall d'Uixo where you can take a boat ride on the only underground navigable river in Spain.
The site owner will run you to train station 5 miles away from where you can catch a train to Valencia or any of the other large towns along the coast.
For us, in winter it was a perfect stop as we headed down the cost. Plenty of places to visit and things to see in a small area and a great little campsite.

Excellent campsite. We have stayed here many times over last 6 years. The owner very helpful. Clean facilities fresh bread to order. Supermarket 10 to 15 minutes stroll. Very relaxing site. Resort very quiet in winter. Good cycling from site. No dogs allowed which adds to the relaxing atmosphere.

We stayed on this site for two weeks on the C&CC winter rally and really liked the site and the area.
The site facilities are good with nice clean showers and toilets and the site owner Michael speaks very good English and is very helpful.
There is a bar that serves reasonably priced alcoholic drinks/ coffees and basic meals and the site reception also has fresh bread to order.
There is also reasonably priced Wi-Fi which covers the whole site and works out at 0.80 cents per day unlimited access.
There is a nice but unheated swimming pool which was open during our stay and the weather was warm enough to use it.
Within 10-15 minutes walking distance are two large
Supermarkets for your weekly shop and the town of Moncofa is surrounded by Orange groves with numerous quiet roads which are flat and ideal for cycling.
We will return again perhaps 2012

This site was ideal for an overnight stop but wouldn't have liked to have stayed longer! Concrete and stones everywhere- no grass in sight! Units close together even in low season. Shop etc. not open. Toilets were clean and the staff helpful. Very little to do in walking distance from site. Very shingly beach nearby. Nice looking swimming pool on site but I don't think it was heated- I didn't try!
