 Overall positive feedback for this basic site - excellent value at £8 per night! Not sure about the previous review as there are no showers, just toilet in the farm yard. We were the only ones in the field - very peaceful with views of Dartmoor and beautiful night sky. We felt like 'proper campers' and loved the solitude.Field is a bit boggy, but the owners were careful to ensure we used the track they'd made for our car. Owners were pleasant, and left us alone. Would def return when visiting this area again.

There were 10 of us in the party that went to walnut farm for a week, which was not long enough. The owners were absolutely superb very friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than expected and the owner had no problem with us setting up. The size of the pitches were great we had plenty of room outside the tent area also. Although quite dated, the toilets and showers were kept clean with lots of hot water. There were separate bins for recycling and other waste. The local shop was within walking distance,and the beaches were fantastic. Will definitely return to this site for two weeks next time
