What a little gem. This is a steeply sloping site but the views more than compensate. We pitched on grass, which was cut short. Owner provided some chocks to assist levelling and offered to assist. Toilets and showers were some of the cleanest we have seen and well justify being nominated for an award. The town od Ludlow was a drive away, but after a day out this was a super site to come back to.

Have just returned from a stay on this small, peaceful site. I can confirm the toilets, showers and washing up facilities are very good and are all maintained to a very high standard. The view is spectacular and the site itself is well maintained with short grass and water and electric on all pitches. Although described as a gently sloping site, I would say the site has a fairly steep gradient which could prove problematic for longer units. To this end the owner, a very friendly and helpful man, provide s a number of wood blocks to assist in levelling. The Donkey, goat and pony are an added attraction and they too are friendly. I would not hesitate to go to this site again.

Wonderful little site with fantastic views over the valley to Ludlow. Some hardstanding pitches and you may need chocks. The wash block is in a series of bijou sheds, which are kitted out with all you could need, including washing up liquid, cloths etc, and kept spotlessly clean. The owners are motorhomers and it shows. They know what we like. They are friendly but not intrusive. Some extra fun can be had watching the trio of goat, donkey and pony on the adjacent field. Their antics had us in tucks. We visited twice.

You will have to go a very long way to get a better campsite than this. The toilets/showers are immaculate, the views are the best from a campsite I have ever seen, it is lovely and quiet, the owners are very helpful, maybe pub and shops are a bit farther away than a mile. The goat, donkey and horse are adorable, if you want to relax this is the place!

Certificated C&CC site – steeply sloping site with lovely views over surrounding countryside. Friendly helpful owner offered to use his Landrover to help park van. Four levelish gravel covered pitches at top of site, but we had difficulty reversing onto one, should have taken up his offer! Water and waste water on pitch. Good hot shower and clean loos. Very well maintained site.
Nearby is Titterstone Clee Hill, maybe 4 miles round trip - we walked. Old quarry site with spectacular views from the top.
Ludlow is nearest town, visible in the distance from the site but a drive away. Very attractive town with ornately carved half timbered buildings and a castle.

From my experience at Farden Lane Park I can confirm that all the previous comments give an accurate report of this lovely little site.
It has fantastic views and has a really peaceful feel to it. We will definitely be returning, I'm even tempted to return for the next Ludlow beer festival!
I can also confirm what has been written about the short roadway being gravel but we had no problem getting out we just took it very carefully.
I can recommend this site to all campers.

Excellent site, lovely views over Ludlow. Clean facilities.
Slightly sloping, well mowed field. Just a couple miles outside Ludlow - very well located for visiting both Ludlow and Leominster.
We enjoyed visiting a number of cider producers and enjoyed a glass or two whilst watching a beautiful sunset from our tent!
A great peaceful site, well away from road noise a lovely site away from it all - just what we needed after a busy week.
Helpful owners. Well recommended, hope to return again soon!

BEAUTIFUL views, slightly sloping field, wonderful surroundings, isolated and quiet, yet only 10 mins drive from Ludlow. Horse and donkey in neighbouring field, very friendly and helpful owners.
Toilets clean and well kept, shower cubical spacious and clean. We were the only tent on site on our night,
I will certainly return, my only concern would be if staying over busy weekends, as there was only one ladies loo (can't say about the mens as it was me and a female friend) and one shower cubicle. But the location and view make up for that.

Three or four miles from Ludlow, this was the ideal site to use whilst visiting the Ludlow Festival. It was a very quiet, reasonably priced site (£15 per night 2 adults and 2 children) slightly sloping with a beautiful view of Ludlow and the Shropshire countryside. We had a hard standing and it was fairly easy to level the caravan.
There is a prefabricated building in the corner of the field which contains two toilets and one shower - doesn't look much from the outside but inside it is very clean and well kept. I didn't use the washing up point but my children tell me it was in a shed next to the toilet block and was also very nice inside.
I'm not sure what there was for small children there as our kids are teenagers. I can only say it suited us.
The pub, The Royal Oak, was about a mile away uphill on the A4117 - we didn't eat there but the food looked good (though a bit pricey!). The farmer who owns the site was very friendly and helpful and also gave us directions to another pub in Knowbury and to a cider house further away, but we didn't try those. Maybe we will the next time we go!
