We have been regular visitors here for a few years, trying to book this year and unable to contact them we paid a visit. The site and farm shop have closed down unfortunatly. And all signage removed.

A nice quiet site with just the basics provided.
It did however have a slightly down at heel feel to it which may have been because of being end of season.
The free roaming owners dog was anything but friendly to my very non aggressive spaniel which was rather off putting.
Also the areas which one was Not supposed to walk were not defined which resulted in shouts from the owner, also slightly off putting.
Martins town is delightful and the Pub food superb.

Had a lovely peaceful weekend here and had the touring field all to ourselves - bliss! The site is small and basic but has hook-ups, fresh-water point and chemical disposal. The views of the surrounding countryside were beautiful and there was a lovely picturesque circular off-road walk to tire out our 4-legged friend.
The children loved that we were surrounded by farm animals. There is a farm shop and coffee parlour on site and, although we didn't eat there, the coffees and milkshakes were lovely.
The couple who own the farm are very nice friendly people and its only a short stroll into the village which has a small shop and a pub.
This site is not for those who want entertainment and 'all the mod-cons' but is perfect for those who like getting back to nature but prefer to retain the little necessities. It is on a bit of a slope so levelling blocks/bricks etc are needed on some of the pitches.
We will return again in the future.
