Must say although I don't like too this site did not appeal to me. It was in my opinion a little shabby. The pitches where of a good size and well kept we were placed at the bottom of the site. Behind the hedge was a gite (not owned) by the site owners but real close to our pitch the family using the gite was rather noisy as I believe their pool was just the other side and obviously did not realise we were just the other side thier party continued on too the small hours most nights which obviously affected our sleep. ( I HAVE TO SAY THIS HAS NO REFLECTION ON THE CAMP SITE OWNERS IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM) back to site the pool although great for a swim it didn't appear to be very clean especially the bottom of the pool in fact we didn't let our kids swim in it. The toilets and showers where very grubby and on most evenings my wife had to clean spaghetti and then rice from the washing up sinks left by some disrespectful campers before we could wash our own pots. I believe the owners are looking to sell the site due to poor health so I am guessing its not easy to balance the cost of site upkeep with a resell value but a mop and brush up with a spot of tlc would not go a miss. Pity really as this could be made into quite a nice site I did try to convey to the owners my thoughts but every time I knocked at the so called reception door nobody appeared to be at home the site owners dog appeared to be barking most of the time outside. I am afraid to say due to lack of sleep and my wife cleaning up duties every evening for the very first time of caravaning we had to pull off 4 days early

We stayed here with car caravan and dog while house hunting in the area. Lovely quiet spot, and this early in the season we were the only ones there so we were able to spread out and leave stuff in bathrooms etc. English owners Barry and Carol were lovely, welcoming, inviting.
Shower and loos were fine, AG pool was nice. Wifi worked well nearer the house. English library a nice touch and we added a few books and dvds.
Would happily return if over this way.

I have turned up here on spec and find a very nice welcome from the owners who are English. Located in a small village, it is extremely tranquil and has clean facilities. The showers / loos are in clean condition and the pool is clean (although too cold today for a dip! :)
Each pitch is roomy and level, Wifi is included in the price (available near the house) as is electricity. There is a washing machine for use for extra charge. There is also a nice room with English reading material and a table /chair. This would be great if the weather was bad and didn't want to hide in the tent!

We stayed at La Moderation on our return drive to the UK from Mallorca with our dog.
Our booking enquiry was dealt with quickly and efficiently.
On arrival we were welcomed by Barry, Carole & Ruby the dog. After given the choice of pitches available and a quick tour round the site we were told just to give them a shout if we had any questions/problems. The pitch was spacious and made private with tall hedges.
This was our first experience of camping and we could not have chosen a better campsite to embark on our new interest. A little out of the way, but that's what we were looking for, once behind the gates we felt secure and relaxed. A truly lovely spot to explore the surrounding area. The pool was a fabulous retreat from the heat and was always clean. A fridge for visitors use was a great idea & kept our wine nice and cold!
Barry, Carole & family were always around keeping busy on the campsite but were never imposing. We were made to feel really welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Moderation and hope to return there.

Had a lovely time at this small campsite set within the grounds of the family home. Its very tranquil, with a lovely new pool, and is very private. There is an adequate shower block, with two hot showers, and two loo's,and an area to empty caravan toilets. This is set within a big barn, which also houses a jacuzzi room, and a small wooded room that the owners tell me they are converting to a steam room eventually.
Our dogs were made welcome also, and received a chew stick on arrival, which I thought was a nice touch. The village itself is small and picturesque, with lots of lovely stone houses to look at and beautiful poppy fields, there is no shop in the village but there is a small bar next to the campsite entrance which is only open at the weekends.
The nearest town of sauze vaussais had a good supermarket, and petrol station,as well as the usual boulagerie etc,it also had a small'british' cafe called The Lemon Tree,if you are really missing your full English breakfast!
We will definitely be returning.
