Excellent basic CL. Very welcoming and helpful owners.
Lots of distance between pitches.
Peaceful, secure rural location and a really good access to cycling lanes and good walks.
2 good pubs in pleasant walking distance across fields.
Basic well maintained facilities.

Absolutely perfect for us, plenty of room in a beautiful location with great walks for us and our dogs.
Especially the 20 minute walk to the Swallows Nest pub (good food and dog friendly).
An abundance of water fowl on the two lakes with a visiting Heron.
To top it all Mandy (the host) was warm and welcoming, Dayhouse Farm and Fishery is now our go to campsite in the West Midlands.

Great site less than half an hour from Birmingham centre but lovely rural location. Sloping site but enough flat places for pitching.
Remember to get the gate lock code as gates shut at 8:30. Country part 5 mins away.
Ideal for exploring the area.

We've just spent 4 nights here with our touring caravan, and agree with the first review.
The field was well mown with a large level area, sloping away towards the bottom end, but due to the 5 van limit you should always be able to pitch on the level. In truth a lot more would fit on the level area.
Lovely views, too.
No hook up or shower block, but our solar panel kept the battery topped up well and the fridge and hot water run off Calor, so no problems there.
The pitch fee was a very reasonable £7 per night.
Nice, off road, walk into the village, about 15 mins to the top pub and another 10 mins to the bottom pub and Co-op, which includes the Post Office.
Both pubs are 'food led' but both have a couple of well kept real ales.
Walk down to the Country Park and it's well worth the walk up to the summit of Windmill Hill for the fantastic views, then refresh yourselves in the cafe.
Just 5 minutes off the M5, and about 10 miles from Central Birmingham, but still a lovely country farm site, and friendly owners.
We'll be happy to return.

We stayed at this site for one night over a weekend. It's only twenty minutes from home but thought we would give it go.
It's in a very convenient location, just 5 minutes off the bromsgrove turning off the m5.
The site is basic, just a water tap, and waste emptying point but don't let that put you off, the camping field is well kept, the bins emptied and has lovely views across fields with horses in, there is also fishing lakes but they are in a different part so it's a nice safe field even if you have small children.
There are two pubs in walking distance, unfortunately we did not have time to sample them but I have heard they are both good. If you have kids or dogs or if you are into geocaching the Waseley hills country park is fantastic, there are lots of trails off, a children's play park (my three loved the climbing tree) and a cafe which seemed reasonably priced. This is about 10 minutes walk from the site.
There is a morrisons in rubery which is about 10 minutes drive up the a38 towards Birmingham or there are various shops in bromsgrove about twenty minutes away. If you need any essential accessories there is a towsure in Halesowen about 15 minutes away.
There are no hard standings but as the weather had been so lovely that didn't worry us. The farm shop on site only sold fishing bait and eggs but there is a farm shop at the bottom of the main road.
There isn't a play area or anything for kids but my three all under 7 enjoyed themselves just playing in the field.
It costs us just £6 a night too which we thought was very good value
A lovely well kept cs we will definitely use again.
