We usually park on my son's driveway in Hereford but wanted to do a surprise visit for our granddaughter's birthday, so booked here for a change.
What a gem of a site!
From the warm welcome on arrival to leaving, we thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful stay.
As cyclists, we had the freedom to roam the quiet lanes and enjoyed rides to Weobley, Sarnsfiled church open day, Moccas Park and then the truly beautiful Brobury Gardens.
We also had a lovely ride to Hereford itself, using back roads and the old railway bridge river crossing west of the city.
Despite the C&MC website saying 'vans had to be under 7 metres long, there are three in-line pitches which could even accommodate RV's if required.
If you want a nice quiet, peaceful site, you'd be hard pushed to find better.

Quiet site with lovely walks.
Not particularly close to anywhere, pubs, shops etc all a drive away.
Facilities all a good standard.
Hereford easy to get to on the bus.
Would be a great base for a caravan holiday,

We had never visited the area before and the site is accessible to some lovely places. Visited Brobury House Gardens and enjoyed a couple of hours browsing the different areas. Impressed and would recommend. Afterwards we drove to Hay for lunch but cut our stay short due to a rain shower.
Another day we abandoned a planned walk (more rain) and went to Leominster for coffee during which the sun came out so we explored the town. Amusing to find an old ducking stool in the priory church.
The Oakchurch shopping centre a few miles from the site sells a wide variety of goods, including fresh fruit and veg, a butchers counter, dairy produce, garden centre, clothing, giftware, was impressive if a bit pricey.
As far as the site goes, it would benefit from some improvements such as more hardstandings, particularly for larger outfits like ours, and a bit of tidying up. Our allocated pitch was on grass and sloping so given that and the wet weather we decided against putting up the awning.
Wifi across the site would have been useful. The ‘hotspot’ was costly, we felt.
Although the showers were not accessible due to lockdown, it was appreciated to have some toilet facilities.

A lovely quiet site in wonderful area. The surrounding countryside is lovely. The wardens are excellent, very pleasant and helpful. There are only two showers each, but are spotlessly clean. Best to visit in week or quiet times when it is not so busy. We shall return

Visited for two nights and weather was kind to us. A very peaceful, quiet, relaxing site. 47 pitches, a mixture of grass and hardstanding. A long linear site due to being based on an old railway line so it was a bit of a walk to the loos if you were at the far end! Despite plenty of hedges and mature trees the site was sunny morning and evening due to being on an almost perfect east/west axis. Facilities were spotless, as usual with Caravan Club sites. Only 4 showers, two mens and two ladies but did not have to wait on either morning. No wifi but we were happy to do without for a couple of nights. It's about 10 miles into Hereford, which has a lovely cathedral which houses the 13th century Mappa Mundi (map of the world) and the usual range of shops. The Weir, a National Trust riverside walk, is not far away and we also visited Berringto Hall, about half an hour's drive away (also NT). No shops or pubs close by so you need to drive, but the club handbook notes there is a bus stop 5 mins away.

A small, rural site on a little used road.
The facilities were clean but a bit dated. Everything we needed was available- electric points, disposal points and lots of info on the area and its history.
There were no shops within easy walking distance but a decent farm shop was about 3 miles away. We managed some walking but largely on lanes rather than footpaths.
There was no O2 reception on the site or anywhere nearby. We were in Hereford when we got a signal.

Site is small & out in country which we liked. There is no shop or anything within walking distance. Loo block clean but dated. Grass kept cut but I feel at time of visit hedges in need of cutting back.
Black & white village of Weobley has Costcutter shop, post office & other shops/pubs. Kington has a good tourist info & good sized Co-op also free long stay car park - good for walking Hergest Ridge & other footpaths from there.
Leominster well worth a visit - has Morrisons on A44 on way in. 3 National Trust properties are within easy driving distance as are Hay on Wye & Hereford.
Freeview reception seemed OK but no mobile phone reception.

Moorhampton Caravan Club Site is a lovely site in the village of Mansell Gamage, it is next to a small country road, which is used mainly by locals and Tractors/farm vehicles,
there is a lovely walk opposite the site, you have to walk up towards the main road and cross over to the cyder apple orchards, which you are free to walk through, there is a small lake/pond there where we saw ducklings and goslings, very cute.
If you go down to the main road the A438 and turn right you will come across a great farm shop about 2 miles along the road, gorgeous bacon and sausages, just right for cooking back at camp!
We have visited this site three times this year as it is a great stop off on the way down to Devon and Cornwall.
It did flood in May when we were there as there was a terrific storm, the bottom hardstanding pitches were probably about a foot under water and the caravans had to be towed to higher ground, the wardens were magnificent, as always, and helped everyone get dried out and they even had to tow one of the caravans out!

This is a very quiet site with only country side around you. There is no local pub but the local chip van did come on the saturday night. Tv stations poor and no digital.
Toilets and shower block were adequate but a bit dated. Most pitches were fairly flat and there were plenty of water points and a disposal drain for motorhome waste water.
Good for cycling on quiet lanes but not ideal for walking as we did not find many footpaths. Ideal site for peace and quiet. Pitches did feel a little close together but due to narrow site.

This is a gorgeous, pretty little site tucked away in beautiful countryside. We used it as a base for Hay festival but it is also within striking distance of Hereford. It is only small and very atmospheric. There are pictures of the old station in the info room - and American soldiers disembarking in WW2. Great dog walk just off site round a cider orchard with lake, swans. The people who run the site were very friendly. Mobile reception very poor but not necessarily a bad thing! this was a lovely break. Couldn't fault it.
