Phoned, booked and paid a couple of weeks before. No instructions or advice / layout given.

There were 2 main areas with 5 or 6 hook ups each. One overlooking the fishing lake, the other at the other side of the hedge looking towards the road. Both lovely big open areas with lots of space to pitch.

Fresh water tap at entrance to CL as you come off of the track onto the grass. Rubbish bin there too. We couldn't find the chemical disposal point and a friendly neighbour told us that it was in amongst the trees, back on the entrance track, near the buildings. There was a standpipe opposite it.

The CL entrance itself is just past the golf club, off of the main road.

Very quiet site, lots of space.

Back again to this delightful site

No fuss, just everything you need, electric/water/ waste water and loo disposal

Delightful views across the fishing lake, very quiet and able to see and hear nature. Grebes feeding young on lake, cuckoo in distance, several owls, fox crossing site at dusk. Wonderful

Its as wild as we are likely to get and will be back again

Our dog loves being able to chase the ball along the grass without bothering other folk and the walk around the lake is lovely.

Easy to book and pay over the phone and then just arrive and set up where you want too, in our case next to an elec point. The most we have seen on the site is 6 other caravans but still quiet and relaxing

We visit to see my sister in the next village so position is excellent for us but ideal for exploring Lincoln and the coast. Its our fourth visit since getting the caravan and will be back again in late summer

The good Clean camping field, very quiet, only 3 units on site.

The bad, no facilities on camp field at all, had to use club house toilets, about 1/2 mile away not good, and closed during night,

And which were not to a good standard when I visited, not dirty as such, very tired needed upgrade urgently.

I give 2 star for facilities, clean field with EHU

I give 3 star for child friendly, because large open field away from traffic, but watch that lake.

Staff give feeling not interested, both on phone and when arrived.

I will Definitely never stay there again.

Stayed for two nights, just a field with hook-ups, that was fine for us, toilets and showers are in golf club half a mile away, again that was fine for us. Fishing is £5 per day, some nice carp, not solid with them but catchable with effort. Book in at golf club reception. Went for a drink in clubhouse, didn't eat but meals looked ok, good meals in village pub.

Lovely site but with no facilities they are long way away in the club house and cold showers at that.

The food was good but a bit pricey unless you had the 2 for £10 menu

5 amp Electric and the élan disposable is not for the faint hearted. The town of Welton is a nice walk 1mile away with a co-op and a pub. Lincoln 6miles

But saying all that I would go again as we use the caravan facilities.

Spacious lawned site for 2x5 units plus tents; electric hook-ups; rubbish, water and chem. Disposal on the drive to quiet main road into the village; lots of space for children to roam (although I did not see many).

Part overlooking a beautiful fishing pond with a view of sunset. Horses on a field nearby. Access to toilets in the golf club house during opening hrs. I had some difficulty accessing the showers there as hot water was not switched on, so I chose to use the leisure centre 20 miles away instead. Site has last year changed from Caravan Club to Camping and Caravanning Club; now priced at the very high end of the spectrum for a certified location, partly because of all the facilities available at/behind the golf club which is 500 yards away.

(Fortunately for me) for example there is no children's play ground on site as claimed in the description on the Club web site.

I enjoyed the space and quiet though.
