Stayed here for 2 nights as a gentle intro to camping. Cannot recommend too highly, the views are to kill for, the caravan and awning were spotless and the owners could not have done more for us.
Molly (dog), loved it too - very doggy friendly.
There is an enclosed garden with picnic table and loungers. The awning holds a sofa, rug and coffee table, and the caravan has the usual fridge, cooker etc, and is very well equipped.
We used the awning to practise camping in (I know, sad, but true)and took airbeds with us. The weather was rubbish, but the experience marvellous.
If you really want an 'away from it all' break, then this is for you!

We stayed at this marvellous caravan over the August bank holiday weekend. The caravan itself was spotless and the awning outside was great for the kids and dog. A dog bed, drink and food bowls were provided too. Drove a mile into a little village of Grosmont where all the steam trains came to. My kids loved it, but not more than my husband.
This caravan was in an isolated field with fantastic views. The only problem was that although it had electric, the plug points did not work, but other than that, the people and the place was great.
We did leave a few bits behind and the owners kindly sent them back to you.

Recently I had a short break at the Southside Holiday Caravan. It is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all. The van is set in a quiet country lane with stunning views. It is well equipped, and the welcome pack was useful and a nice touch. The hosts, Halina and Neil, gave a warm and friendly welcome with relevant information and advice on the surrounding area.
Egton Bridge is a lovely, with good pub food and drink. Whitby is not far for those wanting a busier towns choice and shopping.
I would revisit.
