Just spend 2 nights here, what a well kept peaceful site with fully serviced pitches and the shower and toilet are spotless.
We have spoken to the owners who are very friendly and easy too talk too, also we received 6 freshly laid eggs.
There is plenty to see in the area and a wood with walks in it just across the road form the site, the road is also very quiet and safe to walk on.
We will be back for a longer stay or two.

Liked: The peace, the space bewteen the pitches, the absolute friendliness of the owners, the excellent facilities, and the sight of ducks, hens and geese wandering about the site, the convenience of being so close to many historical sites - and the shopping outlet at Gretna Green.
Going back in September.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing

Stopped here for one night travelling North. Very nice site with easy access and water and waste to each pitch. Very warm welcome on arrival and shown which pitch to go on.
Toilet and shower were immaculate. No dog walk on site but lovely woods opposite which could be accessed through gate across the road.
The lane was also very quiet for walking the dog. This would be a good site to explore the area so we will be back for a longer stay
One tiny gripe, the site is one way but the opposite way to a roundabout and naturally I went the wrong way round and was jokingly told off!

Useful stopover when going northward to Scotland. Very conveniently, each pitch had individual water supply, so out came the long hose and valve gear.
One spacious shower and toilet in a clean, modern wooden building. Very useful to have free wifi.
No dog walk. Okay if dry when you can go into woods, but if wet, dog has to be walked on a quiet road with no pavement, outside the site. One or two not very friendly notices around.

Just got back from a short break there and we really enjoyed the site.
We loved the animals there. Shetland ponies, donkeys, Ducks, Hens, geese, Guinean fowl all very entertaining. Adele made us feel welcome and showed us around the pod.
It’s amazing and it has a hot tub too! Everything on site was clean and sanitising stations on gates and key areas.
Will definitely return.

Beautiful location and well laid out site, lovely and peaceful close to the local village and only about 7 miles from Carlisle.
Everyone really friendly on site. Easy check-in on arrival.
We visited the lakes, Carlisle and Hadrians Wall while here.
Would highly recommend! Very nice local chip shop too 😊

Had yet another brilliant time at Low Moor Head. A very big thanks to Owen, Adele and Owen for their hospitality which is second to none.
Excellent facilities and such a lovely setting. The attention to detail is in another league and nothing is too much trouble-
Just a fantastic place to spend time recharging your batteries.
