We used this site for 2 nights, arriving on the Sunday after a trip over Mont Ventoux. On arrival we were greeted by Virginie who dealt with us very efficiently and professionally. After getting settled on our pitch we wanted to do some ironing and although there was an ironing board in the laundry there was no iron. Virginie said she would lend us one together with the continental plug which her colleague Sam found. They could not have helped more and this, together with the spotless facilities, made our 2 nights a very enjoyable stay. We will certainly use this site again if we are in the area.

Reviewers - mature couple with campervan and bikes.
I had heard that Forcalquier was worth a visit, so we decided to stay overnight at the campsite, it gives ACSI discount.
When we arrived, around midday, the reception was closed, though the sign on the door indicated that it should be open, and invited customers to ring an intercom. Eventually, after a number of rings a young man appeared. He passed me a map of the site, crossed out pitches that we couldn't have, and told us to choose and come back later with the number.
The pitches are mainly flat, and grassy due to the shady trees and hedges. The ACSI discount is not available on Premium pitches, and although the map marked these, we couldn't tell why they were considered Premium. The pitch we chose was fairly close to the sanitary block and swimming pool. The sanitary block was very busy, with limited facilities, though it was quite clean. There is a very small block next to the pool, where we showered before and after swimming, very convenient.
The bar area was open, but we didn't use it.
The very hot weather stopped us from cycling into the town until evening, so we didn't really do it justice, but it has an attractive old centre, and a pull up to the Citadel.
We will put this on the list for a return visit sometime.

A very good site close to the centre of town. Over half the site is comprised of good sized, flat, shaded plots that have a good degree of privacy. The staff are friendly and very helpful, toilet blocks regularly cleaned, decent sized but crowded pool and a popular bar with basic restaurant.
The site is a great base to explore haute Provence, some interesting cycling to be had, well worth getting details from tourist info although be ready for climbs!,
The weekly market in town is worth the visit alone, and the town is a typical narrow streets Provençal one with a steep climb to the citidal. Nice restaurants in town.
If you have not visited the Gorges Du Verdon it is approx a 1. 5hr drive away, worth an early start to beat the crowds.
Not far from the autoroute which can take you up to the Alps or down to the sea!
