Overall, we loved this site and would definitely visit again.
However, there are some caveats. The site is located right on the edge of the small town of St-Martin-D'Ardeche and unfortunately, exactly adjacent to the main road east out of town. This isn't a problem for the majority of pitches, but for those on the northern edge, like ours, road noise is nearly constant and if there's an event on in the town, then all the little muppets on their little scooters come out to play and roar (or should I say whine) up and down the road until the wee hours of the morning. Oh, and they delight in shouting at the tops of their lungs to wake everyone up, all the while with their hooters blaring. This noise was enough to make several of the campers pitched near us to move to other pitches - we opted to stay because of the excellent shade where we were.
I should point out that late night road noise only occurred on 2 or 3 nights - the site itself is like a graveyard at night, in spite of several groups of French students and young people, as opposed to families, camping near us.
The facilities are excellent, although as mentioned by another reviewer, why the toilets and showers are unisex is a mystery to me. Plus, the usual French toilet issue of there being no toilet seats. Apart from that, the staff are friendly and helpful with reasonable English, the swimming pools are clean (albeit deep - the shallowest is over a metre!) and the surrounding countryside is so beautiful it's almost unbelievable. Hope this review helps!

We had a good sized pitch with trees at the four corners so some natural shade. Toilets were modern and clean, although mens and womens were together which I don't really feel comfortable with.
Swimming pools are small but fine for the kids, and there's a shallow, natural beach on the river which is safe for swimming and full of small fish so great fun for kids.
There's no shop or wi fi, but you can order bread, or walk five minutes up the road for a better selection.
Not many standpipes around for water.
There were children's activities organised but mine are a bit old for it now, but enjoyed table tennis, boules and volleyball on site. Don't miss the chance to canoe down the Ardeche gorge.
Hard work as its 25km but a real family adventure, we used the company just to outside the campsite gates,

Just returned to the UK after an excellent holiday at this site. The site brands itself as au naturalle and it certainly has that feel. The pitches are very large with many people putting 2 units on a pitch. The pitches are divided/marked by individual trees so not much privacy. Toilets are mixed and showers clean and modern however some areas of the site are a bit short of showers on occasions.
The site is situated next to the River Ardeche which was easily accessible and safe for sunbathing and swimming. Our 2 kids spent endless days fishing and paddling.
The bar area is modern but the food was a bit poor. There are 2 pools on site, one heated, but these can be very busy and not big enough by half. There is a reasonable playground on site.
The adjacent village St. Martin D'Ardeche is a 50 metre walk. Dont be deceived the villages sleepy look. The place was bouncing. Good markets, bars, parties in the town sq.

Stayed here 2 nights in very hot weather. We chose our pitch and luckily found a fairly private one with shade. Many were without hedges to separate pitches from each other and with no shade. The river runs along the edge of the site but was very low when we were there. The loos etc were good and kept clean. 2 small pools pleasantly situated in a decked area overlooking the site. There is a free lap top in reception for campers use. Staff were friendly and helpful. A short walk into the little village of St Martin d'Ardeche and a lovely mediaeval village is a short drive away, as are the gorges and at the end of the gorges is Pont d'Arc for picnics and swimming. Good playground in centre of site for children.
