We had a great time at this site! Amazing views to wake up to, friendly owners with a huge amount of space for the children to play and to walk the dogs.

Fabulous to wake up next to a field of beautiful horses! Children were always around the stables and the owner (and her children!) took them on guided tours of all the horses and facilities - they even got to help out in the stables which they are still talking about now! We also got to watch some of the horse competitions which made a really nice change and is something we wouldn't have done otherwise.

Facilities are basic but very clean and free power showers, some of the best showers we've had on a campsite! There were laundry facilities, indoor washing up facilities (although we didn't use them they seemed to be as much as you would need).

Ideally placed for the town of Aberaeron and surrounding beaches, plenty to do and see.

Only thing we would have changed would have been the weather! We will be back next year!

This isn't going to be such a great review. The toilet blocks were smelly and dirty, the floor was soft under the lino indicating that it was rotten underneath. There were 2 shower cubicles that were particularly bad. It doesn't always matter that the toilet blocks are new but if old then they have to be very clean to make up for it.

The waste water and toilet disposal were very crude and consisted of either a shoulder high flimsy barrel or an unmarked manhole in a patch of grass. There didn't seem to be a distinction as to what type of waste went where.

I know that it was a less regimented site, but there were no notices about keeping the noise down after dark, and it was lucky that it was raining as it masked the drunken shouts.

The field was fine, large with plenty of room. However, it was spoilt by having an old horse box parked in the entrance.

On my second day, a dirty old van was manoeuvred from the centre of the field to less than a car's width away from my van where a family then started to get set up.

I had had enough and packed up and went home.

The location is fine, the view from the field would have been fine if the horsebox hadn't been there, the people running the site were friendly and helpful, if a bit clueless, Aberaeron is lovely, and it is in easy reach of the coast. I wouldn't go back though.

Great, small, back to basics campsite without rules and regulations! We stayed here for a week and did not have any problems at all. The site is based on an equestrian centre and so there were plenty of horses in the fields for the kids to see and feed the occasional mint!

We did not want electric hook up although these can be found around the field. There was a water tap in the centre of the field and a sink for washing up. The toilets (3 for women 2 for men) and showers were adequate and kept clean. Fires off the ground are permitted which was great in the evening. Price is per pitch which was refreshing as many campsites charge extra for kids, dogs, etc etc.

The nearest shops are about a couple of miles by car in the town of Aberearon. There are lots of independent shops, places to eat and a costcutter. The beach at Penbryn is a half hour drive and well worth a visit. Also the nearby town of New Quay is great for fishing trips and boat trips to see the numerous dolphins.

If you want entertainment, kids playground, bars etc this is not for you. If you want to just relax and watch the sun go down this is perfect. We would definitely go back if we were in the area again.

Highly recommended About 2/3 miles outside Aberaeron - pretty harbour town. Campsite is on top of hill - beautiful views all round. Large enclosed field, water in centre, electric hook-ups all round. Horses in field next door.

Very clean site, each plot having plenty of room. Room for kids to run around safely. Clean free shower block with lots of hot water!

Dishwashing area needs improving.

Camping on the farm is easy to book, very friendly site owners and more than willing to do anything to help you.

A lovely setting, with spectacular views all around, surrounded by horses which were very friendly. Clean and pleasant toilets and showers which were sufficiently lit up. Pitches well spaced out and a large area in the middle for children to play ball games. Disadvantage for campers, no where to keep food and drink cool and its quite a trek to the shops for milk etc. The washing up area is basic and maybe a roof would be a consideration in the future as the area is exposed to all the elements good and bad.
