An absolute gem of a campsite, located in the most wonderful location.

There was easy access to the lakes, standing stones and stone circle and the most wonderful waterfall walk through the woods, all within walking distance from the campsite.

The owners were friendly and helpful.

I've given the facilities 10/10 because they were clean and suited my basic needs well.

A brilliant 2 day stay and id definitely go back!

Needed a campsite in the peak season at short notice, this was perfect, pretty basic but had the necessities required,

Hot shower sinks toilets and dish washing area within a working farm.

Price was very reasonable lots of space electric hook ups available

Situated on the hillside just below the lakes about 7 miles outside of Dolgellau and closer to Fairbourne

Owners are really nice people

If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the place to go

A farm site in the secluded hills,

Friendly farmer,

Quiet site basic shower and toilets

Good value at ten pounds a night

Ideal for walkers as it’s close to Arthog water falls and a Cadair Idris

Second time we’ve camped at this site and it’s beautiful. The owners are so lovely and we feel very safe there!

Only thing we think that could be improved is the length the light is on for in the shower cubicle, and maybe making it so you get more light when in the shower.

Apart from that, no complaints!

Thanks as always!

Lovely, simple site! An "interesting" single track road to get there up a fairly steep hill, so not suitable for large vans.

Friendly and helpful owners.

Unfortunately the only shower wasn't working during my stay.

The area and situation of the camp site are very beautiful.

The owners are very polite, friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas.

We would be very happy to use this campsite again.

If you are looking for rural peace and quiet this would be it! We went in our tourer, the final length of road is rather narrow but we managed ok. We had the field to ourselves with a woodland view. Not far from Cregennan Lakes which was beautiful. If you are walkers with a tent then this would be ideal. Basic facilities but they were clean and tidy. Make sure you take all you need or are prepared to go into Dolgellau for any shopping and not sure if suitable for children. We will be visiting again

We had the most amazing family holiday at Pant Y Cae! We stayed in the cottage which was beautiful! Easy walk to the lakes and breathtaking views! Few minute drive to fairbourne beach or a lovely walk there along the estuary! We also got the ferry ride which the kids enjoyed into Barmouth but you can drive which only takes about 10 mins. We walked up to the blue lake which I recommend! Peter & Enfys who own the site are very welcoming and lovely couple. Will be returning!

Went to this Campsite Bank Holiday weekend. 2 Toilets 1 shower £1 for 6 min. No hot water in the taps for washing your utensils. I was told it was a mile to walk into Barmouth but it is three quarters of a mile to get from the campsite to the main road. Then a mile and a half walk to the Station. Then a mile walk across a bridge to get to Barmouth. And about a 12 mile round trip if you go by car across the Toll road.

There are No local shops, nearest pub is about 4 mile away. It was the only site available as it was a bank holiday. I did book 3 weeks before.

If you are a walker/ Hiker then this place will be ideal for you. The site was clean, but too basic for my liking. As you leave the main road to get there it is not signposted just a sign saying Athog.
