My husband and I had our first ever naturist campsite experience here in June 2021. We were naturally a little anxious but we were the only tent in the camping field so there was time to settle in and undress without an audience.
Once the tent was up we explored the site and tried out some of the facilities.
The indoor pool and hot tub are wonderful. The pool is warm and clean and the hot tub just the right side of almost too hot. The bar is nice, in a basic sort of way and the adjacent outdoor picnic area is a relaxing place to sit and have a drink. There is a sauna but it was still closed.
There’s a children’s play area that looked like fun but I never saw any children.
There are good shower, toilet and kitchen facilities dotted around, though some things were limited because of covid. Everything is clean and well kept.
There’s a wooded area with marked walks, which was great for walking the dog, but I recommend you cover up before venturing there because of the biting insects.
The best thing about TNC though is the people. We spoke to lots of members and visitors and everyone was just lovely. We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived and have made friends we’ll probably stay in touch with. It’s amazing how quickly you forget that everyone is naked.
There are several places nearby for day trips: Telford itself has a modern town centre with mostly big chains, but also a lovely big park. Shrewsbury is worth the drive – it’s stunning and we had a delicious meal in The Golden Cross, the town’s oldest pub.
It was a perfect first naturist experience.

What a lovely site, run and maintained to a really high standard by its members who all went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
The woods are just lovely to walk round and the pool and jaquzzi are a real hit.
I have already booked my return visit 10 out of 10

Nice place and friendly people, easy to get to and if you drive(I currently don’t) there’s plenty of shops near bye or you can order food delivered there ie pizza.
The bar area is quite good with a pool table and dart board and the drinks are a good price.
Oh there’s a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi plus sauna( but because of COVID it’s not in use at the moment).
It was my first visit and I’m planning another.
If you want a nice relaxed break then I’d recommend.

Absolutely brilliant, members and committee made me very very welcome.
Nice site, clean and tidy, lovely shower unit, plenty of toilets and the bar was welcoming and not over priced.
Definitely will return.

Absolutely fabulous site! So welcoming, with lovely clean facilities.
Maintained by members - its their own piece of paradise close to all amenities.
Lovely heated pool and sauna area.
Social club serving homemade cakes and sandwiches and extremely reasonable bar prices.
No extra charge for an awning.
Will definitely be visiting again.
Thanks

I've just returned from a three night stay at Telford Naturist Club. Sadly I live more than a hundred miles from the club otherwise I would visit regularly and definitely seek membership.
I enjoyed the stay more because of excellent weather over which none of us have control but the heated pool, bar, sauna, club room and TV room would have made the stay tolerable whatever the weather.
Most of the members, and indeed visitors I encountered were friendly and welcoming of single male visitors like myself which some clubs discourage and even prohibit.
I arrived there on Sunday so the weekend members were still in attendance and it was very busy.
After the weekend it was quieter but still enough people coming and going to make things interesting.
I have no reservation in recommending this site to everyone and particularly to those new to naturism.

We spent Easter at this site and we really enjoyed our stay. This is a members club with a limited number of bookable touring pitches for non members.
We were made to feel most welcome by all those that we met. We had a good sized hard standing with ECU. Toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy and the bar was a great place to socialise in the evening, the food was nice too.
The site has kept some of the equipment from its previous life as a coal mine and there is also a small museum, all very interesting.
One of the things that we enjoyed was the woodland walk which takes you away from the camping site but without leaving the grounds, into a really nicely managed wildlife area, completely back to nature.
We were invited to play in a fun boules contest one morning with seemingly, most of the of the other campers. A great laugh all round and a good way to mix and mingle.
We will be returning.

Very friendly and inviting site. You have to visit the woodlands that are maintained by the club members.
You can have your very own BBQ down there or just sit and relax on a bench over looking the pond. Bar facilities are good with very reasonable prices.
Our 3 year old daughter loved the outdoor pool which is spotless and well looked after. It was also nice to see other young families so our daughter had playmates.
Very clean facilities.
Have already rebooked to go again.
