We have confirmed with the owner that the site is still open, and running quietly, welcoming tents, caravans and campervans, with or without electric hookup. You can book in advance, or usually just turn up if you wish. If you do visit, please can you leave an up to date review, it would be very much appreciated indeed.

Stopped off here for two nights on our return from Cornwall. I wasn't sure what to expect given previous reviews but was quite happy.
The toilets are made of breeze blocks as mentioned but the showers were superb. Just ensure that you hang your clothes on the pegs provided to ensure they stay dry. It would be advisable to take your own loo roll as well. If washing there is only a cold tap though.
There are no facilities to do the washing up which is a bit of a pain so I ended up bringing it home with me.
Although the owner is a very nice chap he did quote my friends £10 per night and then put it up to £15 on their arrival.
On the whole though it was an good site.

Small site with 5 big log cabins (1 still in process of being built). Most of the area for tents was flat and the ground pretty good for getting pegs in, although was quite stoney and bent a few as a result.
The gentleman we spoke to, I presume the owner, was lovely.
Now then the toilets! I am a seasoned camper but even I was a little shocked at the loos. They were in the back of the breeze block build garage, 2 'bathrooms' each consisting of a toilet, sink and electric shower. The doors were pretty much bits of woods stuck together, concrete floor, one of the loos didn't appear to have a flush and no light, a problem in a room with no windows. We only used them once whilst we were there, opting to use our portaloo in the tent instead.
Well situated for visiting Cheddar, Wokey Hole, Wells, Bath, Weston Super Mare.
There is a little noise from the road but then what site doesn't have road noise these days.
Overall a nice site. If just a little attention was given to the toilet block then it would be a fab site.

This is a nice and simple site. It is a small site, and a quiet one. Very good access to Cheddar, and close to a Petrol Station with Spar shop. There is no play equiptment for the kids.
The shower block is in the process of being renovated. The shower is a power shower, and is the best I have ever sampled. The shower block in un-completed, and has a concrete floor, and walls, and is not for those who look for good looking shower blocks.
The site is a clean site, fully grassed, with a gravel road leading to the pitching area
The site is very quiet, but if you park to close to the road, then you might be put off by traffic noise, or street lights.

We spent 2 nights here so we could visit Cheddar Gorge. We had only been there 1 hour when the police were called out because of trouble in one of the log cabins!
The toilet block was disgusting. It had not been tiled so water flooded everywhere, it was dirty and you could see day light through the door and walls! I don't think it was cleaned the whole time we were there. The site managers were friendly!
The only bit my girls liked was the wild fox that came around each night and even at lunch time!
This could be nice if a bit of money was spent on it as the location is great

Site was very quite for this time of year. Was able to use are new pourch without paying any extra. Plenty of space on the site. Very welcoming. Toilets nad showers still need work but usable. Shower very nice. Nice location if you are spending days out in the somerset area. We are hardened boot sale people. We found some excellent one in the area and picked up a lot of good camping stuff as we are just starting out.

This is a great site if your looking for cheap basic camping which is located close to Cheddar Gorge, The Caves, Wookey Hole and 15 minutes drive from Weston-Super-Mare beach.
There are two bathrooms which each contain a shower, toilet and sink which are usable and kept clean although you need to provide your own toilet roll.
I would like to add that these facilities are breeze block with concrete flooring and visible rafters and are not recommended for those campers who are in need of 'luxury' facilities.
For £10 a night you can't really go wrong.
