We chose this site based on its proximity to the motorway and the two reviews on here.
We emailed the site initially, but received no response, which lead us to believe that the site may have closed. A telephone call confirmed that the site is open, and we were told that a booking was unnecessary in June as there would be plenty of vacancies - there were!
The site is now called "Cosy Camping" and belongs to the adjacent equestrian centre, which we were invited to visit.
On arrival we found a telephone number displayed in the reception window. Which we 'phoned to be told: "Chose a pitch and come to the office later. ", which we did, and we were spoiled for choice.
There were only a few units on site. Some pitches even had their own water and some their own drainage.
The very pleasant owner spoke enough English to supplement my limited French.
There is a supermarket, with fuel, (and a bakery) about a mile away to the South
I would agree with the previous reviews regarding the facilities being clean and adequate.
The pitches may have been in need of a trim and a tidy, but this proved to be a very quiet peaceful site, in easy reach of the motorway (which did not disturb us), and at a very reasonable price.
I would definitely stop here again as it has everything I expect of an overnight stop, and is a half day's drive to the Mediterranean.

I used this site after seeing the review from Trooper. The site is well situated en route to the Languedoc coast or Spain. I agree with trooper. The site is close to the A75, has all necessary facilities - toilets and showers and a washing up area, electricity and full service if needed. Facilities are dated but clean, and is ideal for an overnight stop. Owner is friendly and helpful. Good for a peaceful night's sleep.
However, the information needs to be updated. I understand it is open 1 April to 31 October rather than open all year. The site has been in private hands since 2009, and is called the 'Croix des Anglais'. For satnavs, the coordinates are N 44 48'58. 7' E 003 16'17. 6' Elevation 1047m.
Access travelling South is at J33 on the A75 (250 m. From junction). From the site, travel South through the town to J34. Travelling North, exit at J34 and drive through the town to the site. To avoid the town, go up to J32 (petrol and fast food there) and double back to J33 (4 miles between junctions) From the site join the A75 at J33.
I'll be happy to use it again for overnight stops on that route.

This site is ideal for an overnight stop when using the A75 motorway. When travelling south, leave at junction 33, head towards St Chely d'Apcher and in less than two minutes the site is on the left. When travelling north you leave the motorway at junction 34 and drive through the town.
What's on site - not a lot really. Every pitch has the ability to be full service. There are unisex toilets and showers, there is also a washing up area. So everything you need for an overnight stop but that's about it. Would I stay for more than one night - No. The facilities are very 'rustic' but as an overnight stop close to the A75 this little site is ideal especially as there don't appear to be too many overnight stops in this area that are as close to the motorway.
The town itself has restaurants and bars, there are also a couple of supermarkets with 24/7 fuel pumps so you can get reasonably priced fuel.
Please remember if you do use this site the altitude is a little over 1000m so it can get a bit chilly.
Will I use it again - definitely, but only for overnight stops.
