Turned up with no booking, phoned from drive and were invited in
Only needed one night so was OK, hard standing pitch with ehu 13amp but they did have 16amp on next pitch. Only one other caravan on site so very peaceful
Lawnmower was broken so the grass was a bit long and made it look scruffy
Only one toilet and shower in the owners garden but strange that when you come out of the door you are looking directly into their conservatory. OK but not brilliant
Road was busy with no pavement so difficult to walk anywhere off site
OK for a one night stay but would not stay for longer

The pitches are large. Only one toilet and shower which was not cleaned for 3 days whilst we were there.
There are no pavements on the busyish road outside, so walking to The Rising Sun pub and the local Linton shop was quite nerve wracking.
The owners are a lovely elderly couple but one has to think that perhaps they are getting too old to give the site the full attention it needs.

This is a lovely little site near to New Milton and within easy reach of the Beach by car or bike.
The owners were very helpful and Norman was particularly helpful with his many tools.
The shower was 50p for 5 mins so you will need 2 x 50p for a decent shower.
The site is very peaceful, and the small road nearby has very little road noise.
There is a lovely pub up the road just 10 mins walk (The Rising Sun) that serve some tasty real ales.
Would recommend this sight for visiting the local areas of Bournemouth.

Such a lovely quiet site, just 5 pitches with views of horses and apple trees.
Lovely welcoming elderly couple made us feel very welcome.
Toilet and shower on site basic but that’s all you need and shower was very warm.
Highly recommend for the price and being near to main routes into the new forest, will definitely use again.

Quite a nice site, but do watch carefully for the turn, directly off the road which is rather busy, narrow and fast. Once you are in, it's fine. You are asked to call at the house first; the site is directly behind it, 3 hardstandings for use at this time of year. The only rule we were told was to use our mover to avoid the car or caravan touching the grass, fair enough. Perhaps the owners were away at the time of the previous review, as they don't seem to be the type of people who would impose a long list of rules.
The hardstandings are on the left, next to the apple orchard; in spite of the trees, it's easy to find your Sky satellite signal. They are plenty wide enough although showing their age, a bit more gravel would be useful. Recycling is good; the bins are behind the house, use the 'stepping stones' through the garden (through the gate on the right of the site) to access them. The loo, shower and CWD are just through this gate on the left and all look clean and perfectly acceptable.
As said, it's easy to get to everywhere, in addition to the general store, garage and 2 garden centres in Bashley, New Milton is just down the road, has a Morrison's and Co-op in the centre plus a large range of charity shops.
The site has a website and email address, but if you enquire by email, you are asked to phone to confirm, so you may as well just phone.
The price is now £13. 50, reasonable enough, soon to increase to £14 apparently.

A nice site but we got lectured for no reason from arrival! We were given a sheet of instructions which we would always adhere to as a matter of course. We were considerate, quiet and courteous but Even when trying to leave my husband was given a talking to which was very uncomfortable.
We won't go back as a result!

There are only 5 pitches here as they are in a field out the back of the owners' property. The owners are a lovely elderly couple.
The ground is flat, the pitches are large.
There are hook ups within easy reach of all pitches.
It is very peaceful with horses in a nearby paddock
There is only one toilet and one shower very dated but clean (a converted shed) but it seemed ok with all the sites taken.
New Milton is the nearest town with Sammy Millers motorbike museum – well worth a visit
This is a good value site at £11. 50 and we would rebook for 1 night to visit relatives in the area.

My partner and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Greenwood which is a Camping and Caravan Club Certificated Site for 5 units. I can echo what the previous reviewer said, that this is a very good value site (we paid £11. 50 per night incl electric hook-up and access to the toilet and shower) which has dated but clean facilities.
I wouldn't recommend this site for small children as there is a road to the front and there is no play area, but as a site for adults only this site works well. There is a choice of 3 hard-standing pitched on gravel or to pitch on the level grass area. The pitches are large and overlook a fenced paddock to the rear.
The Bashley Village Shop and Post Office is a 5 minute walk away and there is an Esso garage a minute or two away by car. There is also the Rising Sun Pub within half a mile and access to good cycle routes within a mile.
We will look to stay here again

Stayed here end of May Bank Holiday. It's basically a field out the back of the owners' property. The owners are a lovely couple, in their twilight years but still going strong and running a lovely little campsite. The ground is flat, the pitches are large.
There are hook ups within easy reach of all pitches. There is a lovely orchard to the side of the campsite where we could walk the dogs first thing.
There is only one toilet and one shower (bit dated but clean) but as it's a certificated site, it never gets busy and it's mainly caravans anyway.
It's right into the New Forest so lots of walks very close by. New Milton is the nearest town, 5 minutes by car and caters for all your needs really. Don't know about pubs in the town but there is one within walking distance called the Rising Sun and it does good food.
Seaside is only 10 mins away, Barton on Sea being the closest, Mudeford is a bit further on but well worth a visit.
We loved the site because it is so quiet and the owners are perfect hosts, they keep their eye on things but are not over attentive.
Will definitely return.
