Stayed here free for one night as part of the France Passion scheme. Very small campsite which seemed quite crowded, with EHU cables strung everywhere and people plugging into extensions. Luckily there was an available pitch right by the entrance so manoeuvring wasn't an issue, but larger units might struggle.
The sanitary block appeared to be well equipped and clean, though we mostly used our own facilities. As we were expecting a usual France Passion with no facilities rather than a proper campsite we arrived with full water and empty waste tanks, but if I had paid for the campsite I'd have been a bit concerned because I couldn't see anywhere where you could fill/empty.
I found the lady in the office to be friendly enough, and we had a nice conversation during the (paid for) wine tasting that evening. They also sell cold bottles of Champagne (in a wine cooler with glasses - to be returned!) to takeaway and drink on your pitch.
We probably won't return here because the campsite was too crowded for our tastes, but it did make a nice final night of our holiday before heading back to the tunnel.

Vandières is a picturesque village (without a shop) on a slope of the Montagne de Reims down to the Marne. It is in beautiful countryside surrounded by vineyards and there are woods further up the hill. Reims is within half an hour’s drive.
The campsite has excellent facilities, the lavatories and showers are modern, very well tiled and spotless. There is an exterior eating area under a canopy and with a fireplace for barbecuing. There are two external washing up sinks. Dog walking without taking the car is easy.
The all grass camping area is not large and is partly sloping. There are twelve electricity hook-up points (europlug). If there were twelve caravans, motor caravans or family sized tents on the site it would be overcrowded.
The chemical toilet disposal point is merely a 30 cm gulley with a fine grid in a corner by one of the sinks with a tap above it. Disposal of any solid matter in the waste would be really disgusting.
The owner did not appear to recall that I had made and amended a reservation by e-mail (to which he had replied in both cases). He was extremely unwelcoming, grumbled about the size of my single axle caravan and told me nothing about the site’s facilities. I never did find the drinking water point but had to improvise with the mixer tap over one of the sinks. He did draw my attention to the rather grotesque signs indicating that dogs should not be exercised. A fellow camper was not given the combination to open the gates which were closed after trading hours.
When I was leaving on a wet day, I needed to empty my surplus drinking water. Rather than pouring it on to the already damp ground, I tipped it into a drain in the yard. This brought forth an accusation from the owner that I was disposing of toilet waste.
I liked the area and the village and the campsite facilities (subject to the reservations mentioned above) are good

Nice setting in a garden like a fruit orchard, very good facilities, bbq-area, free showers. View over a small village and vineyards. The mobile boulanger arrives at 8. 30h 6times a week with good and fresh French bread.
The price is rather low with 7, 50 Euro per person - that includes a campervan, showers and electricity. Champagne costs about 15 Euros too.
On the downside, the owners tend to give you a rather cold welcome, if you booked ahead, you have to convince them, that you did so. The site is small, so advance booking is a must.
