Pleasant terraced site with a range of pitch sizes, some are pretty tight for space, they allocate you depending upon unit size. Mainly gravelly soil like many European pitches.

Our pitch has its own tap and waste drain which was handy. Toilet facilities were fine and cleaned regularly, staff friendly.

The site is in an industrial/residential area which is fairly quiet, there are supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance ( a fair choice at the marina)

5 minute walk to train station, bus stop and beach. Easy train to Nice, Monaco, Canne, Antibes etc.

Good site for base to visit area, not really a beach holiday site.

The campsite was in a very convenient area for the Riviera.

The only couple of things we weren’t happy were the amount of dog excrement laying about around the site. WHY don’t pet owners pick up after there pets.

Our other gripe is the disabled shower/toilet wasn’t cleaned as we were there a week and we’re paying 30 odd euro per night.

The other facilities were cleaned regularly between 5am & 7am every morning which we heard regularly.

Using a satnav this was an easy site to find. Pleasant welcome and then shown to our pitch. The site initially appeared quite cramped but in reality its not too bad. Some pitches are a bit small others are more than adequate with mains and electric on pitch (the water works off a high pressure system so needs the right connector (pushes male into female). We had a car and caravan but some larger campervans might struggle or get a thin elongated pitch. The on camp bar cum snack bar cum evening restaurant is a plus factor and, although offering a very limited menu, the food (pizzas or steaks) were surprisingly good. And the atmosphere created enhanced the place. Generally the site was peaceful though the airport at Nice isn't too far away and the camp suffers noise, especially the engine roar during take off, which was a shame. Toilets and showers adequate bit tired but clean, likewise the toilets. During our stay the pool (no lifeguard) never had the roof opened, which was strange given the high temperatures. Hence inside got very stuffy and uncomfortable. One big let down was the beach, which appears very close (at the bottom of the road in fact) however the main rail line prevents direct access. Consequently its a case of turn left and follow road for a couple of miles until there's a pedestrian underpass OR turn right where its half the distance and the underpass will allow a vehicle. The beach itself is uninviting and stony but parking is easy. However go to the west of Antibes (5 miles) and there is a very nice sandy beach, though beware after June 1st, its 17 euros a day to park ! (Seventeen). Antibes is well worth a visit very charming with plenty of places to eat and plenty of parking in the evening. Nice is close by likewise Monaco and Cannes but, as with most of the area, there's a lot of traffic, hence queues. However all can be reached via the rail station near the aforementioned underpasses. The area the camp is sited in Villeneuve Loubet Plage which isn't a particularly nice area, a bit of a poor relative to Nice and Antibes. Its more industrial and the roadside walks aren't particularly nice. However there is a decent supermarket and several good bakeries. Overall not a bad place to spend a week out of season but not sure I would want to stay when high season arrives.

The site is well looked after with a clean, warm shower block this early in the season. The pitches are all of a good size with gravel and are level. The swimming pool was open in early April although we did not use it. The restaurant/bar was also open. Good laundry facilities where you buy your tokens from the machine which I found better than getting them from reception as you don't need to plan ahead to make sure reception is open.

However, we asked for the sunniest pitch they had available and were told it was not that simple, they were very busy. We took the site allocated to us but this turned out to be the pitch which lost the sun earliest in the day! Opposite us, was a lovely sunny empty pitch for the 4 days we stayed. Naturally, we moved our chairs and made use of the sunny spot. There were also other sunnier unoccupied pitches. It seems rather contrary, to say the least, for us to have been located where we were put under the circumstances.

Our main reason for choosing the site was its transport links to Nice and we made good use of them. We bought the 7 day pass for the museums and galleries and thoroughly enjoyed looking round these as well as the very interesting old town and of course the promenade. We also walked into Antibes - lovely town for a wander through and plenty of restaurants etc. We did not go anywhere more local to the site so cannot comment on immediate surroundings.

This was one of the few sites open at this time of year with good transport to Nice so we would possibly use it again.

Arrived mid June for 8 nights, booked through caravan club, we actually booked a week stay but due to very wet weather in the north we arrived a day early, no ploblem adding additional night, but must say the receptionist on duty was the most miserable person we encountered during our eight week vacation we were shown to a pitch and told this is yours although there were a number of empty ones around, we had to have the one allocated yet some of the surrounding pitches were unoccupied the whole of our stay. , the pool area is very nice although it closed at 6pm the main toilet/shower block was good with plenty of hot water but was closed for over an hour around lunchtime every day for cleaning, We did not realise when booking that the Euro football was taking place and the site was basically a transit camp for football supporters due to the close proximity of Nice, most were well behaved but a couple of groups were thrown off the site. The best thing about this site is the transport links to eastern end of the cote d'azure, 14 euros by train to Monaco, 2 euros to Nice by bus, cycle path to Antibes. The local beach is pebbles but there is a sandy beach at Antibes

Good location for visiting the Côte d'Azur but other than Antibes we gave the others (Menton, Monaco, Nice, Cannes) a miss this time in view of the crowds, traffic and intense heat, taking the opportunity to relax since we were on an extended tour over several months. Would consider visiting in Spring or Autumn when hopefully it would be more to our liking. Visited some interesting villages inland instead, such as Gourdon, Biot, Coaraze.

Pitch was a good size, accommodating our caravan, awning and car with space to spare. On arrival staff escorted us to our pitch which was appreciated after the journey.

Internet pricey and not available at the pitch so we had to go to the TV room/patio area which was not convenient for Skyping family. It has become our lifeline this holiday - sign of the times!

Stayed here for 6 nights to use as a base for Nice, Monaco etc.

The pitches are large and separated by hedges. Ours was a nice sunny pitch as we're most of them, there were some under lots of trees that were in shade virtually all day - fine if its really hot.

Toilet/shower block was unisex which wasn't a problem for us, they were clean and showers good. ( push button type).

You can get the bus to Nice for €2 return. Bargain. Didn't use the beach.

Wifi was available, but quite expensive.

The takeaway was open.

We prebooked this campsite through the internet before we went as we were using it as a base for the Monaco F1 grand prix, it cost 105 euros for 3 nights for 2 adults and 3 children and English is spoken. The level hedged pitches are large and have EHU and shared water points.

The toilet blocks were shared by both sexes and were clean, but dated, also enclosed the wash up area.

There were 2 joint swimming pools the smaller one has a small slide and ajoining whirlpool, the pool can also be covered over in cooler weather. It was a very nice clean pool.

For the children there was a medium sized park, ping pong tables and boules area.

Other facilities include motorhome service point, launderette, internet connection, pre booked bread service, ice creams and vending machines. There was a takeaway service in high season, but was not open when we were there.

Surrounding the campsite is a national park which looked nice, but did not use, but would be good for walkers or cyclists, we walked 15 minutes to the train station were English is spoken and you can use this service to get anywhere along the coast, we went to Monaco and it cost about 50 euros return for 6 people and took about 45 mins. The beach front was about 5 mins walk but you have to cross a very busy road and the train track to get to it. There is also a marine park, aqua park (which was closed when we were there) and mini golf, adventure park all within a 15 min walk.

This is a nice quite park, in an area that has plenty for children to do and is central for visiting the many towns in either direction all the way to Italy.
