We are delighted with Tregainlands, the site is immaculate and extremely well organised.
We have decided to also store our caravan here as the security and facilities are first class.
The site is adults (over 16) only and offers a peaceful break away from home.
There is plenty of room and the pitches are fully serviced and offer great value for money.
The owner, Steve, could not be more helpful and accommodating. He is always there to give a helping hand if needed.
The dedicated caravan cleaning area is a real bonus. The entrance is easy to negotiate and there is a security barrier for extra peace of mind. First class in every way.

Lovely quiet site and beautifully looked after. The pitches are really spacious with all services connected and there is a choice of either hardstanding or grass which is kept nice and short.
The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Convenient for both Bodmin and Wadebridge and beaches are only a short drive away.
There is a large garden centre nearby which does food that is very reasonably priced.

Lovely quiet site. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Friendly owners Steve and Narrisa are always on hand to help if you have a problem. We stay here a lot, it's a great escape and ideal for relaxing the hard standing pitches are serviced there are no showers only a basic toilet block.
We use our caravan as home from home we both have very stressful jobs so it's great to have this get away. Adults only, not on top of each other or overlooked dog friendly. Even cat friendly, if you want to bring the mogs along.
If you are looking for a basic reasonable priced site, that's clean, peaceful but close to a bus stop into Bodmin or Wadebridge this is the site for you.
They also store your caravan for you, so you give them 48 hrs notice they will get it out or put on pitch for you.
Thank you guys
See you both very soon
Karen and Rob

I have a caravan stored with Tregainlands. If I want it on a pitch they tow it out for me. If I've ever had a problem they have facilitated a fix.
The campsite has no children (brilliant!). They allow well behaved dogs on a lead (no problem).
The amenities are basic - toilet block - (fine by me my 'van has all the facilities I need.
It's clean and tidy and out of the way but not too far. 10/10 from me

This is a no frills site which is very close to a bus stop for trips to Bodmin or Wadebridge/Padstow in the other direction.
Access to the Camel Trail is not for the faint hearted as there is a VERY steep twisty down hill run to meet up with the trail which is, of course, very strenuous on your return; the nearest pub is just on the Bodmin side of where one joins the trail.
All in all a very pleasant few days. A shower block would be the icing on the cake together with better washing up facilities providing price doesn't jump too much accordingly.

Now £11 a night but toilets out of action, no showers. As said before owner is very helpful and ready to help, as I had a serious problem with a fire in the caravan and with his help I was able to repair damaged wiring to enable me to tow home.
The site is ideal for me as I was the transport for a scout group, and so close to Nine Ashes. I was able to get on my bike and do the Camel Trail to Padstow and Bodmin, taking time out for Wadebridge - out of the site and turn left down a steep hill, a lovely walk back

Great little site perfect for a get away from it all holiday. It's a very laid back site with loads of space. Very peaceful.
Do be aware that there isn't a shower block - although the owner did say they were hoping to install one soon.
We stayed here with the intention of exploring North Cornwall.
Although it is near to the camel trail be aware that this is down a big hill (consequently up a steep hill on the way back!) the location is great if you're happy to drive around but if you're hoping to stroll to the local pub on an evening it isn't possible.
Overall a great little site nice and quiet.

Really nice CL, very quiet with lovely views to Bodmin and good hardstanding pitches (not quite wide enough for the awning to be all on the hardstanding though).
The owner Steve and his dad were very welcoming and full of information on the local area and attractions. Our two dogs were most welcome and there is a big field for them to be walked round as long as they are kept on a lead ( plenty of rabbits about).
There is electric hookup and the usual waste facilities and ladys and gents toilets which were a bit basic but adequate.
Overall we had a lovely time and would recommend this site at a very reasonable £10 a night.
