 This is a really lovely site. The swimming pool is excellent with slides, a large Jacuzzi pool and a swimming pool. The restaurant is relaxed and friendly. We only tried the pizzas which were excellent. There is nightly entertainment, which we did not attend but was popular. This was noisy but not unbearable until 11. 45pm, when everything went quiet.
The washing, shower and toilet facilities were excellent and always clean.
The site had a lovely relaxed feel and was perfect for my 9 and 11 year old boys. We would love to go back. The pitch sizes were good for touring units but the roads were very narrow which made manoeuvring tricky and we only have a 2/4 birth caravan.
The local area is beautiful and Bidart village itself and it's beach are lovely. I would definitely recommend this site.

We stayed at this site June this year and were quite pleased with it. The pitches are quite tight and mostly shaded, the roads to the pitches are narrow and you would struggle with a big outfit; also there are not enough water points, and electric hook- up points are awkwardly placed, which entailed the leads trailing across the paths.However, enough of the moans, the site has an excellent outdoor swimming pool with water- slides and children`s pool. There is a bar/restaurant which does takeaways and is not bad, and there is entertainment at night in front of the bar.The shop stocks the usual stuff, fresh bread and croissants, beer, wine etc. The toilets and showers are always spotlessly clean.
There are two supermarches,(Intermarche Lidl) five minutes away at the top of the hill,Intermarche sells fuel which is reasonably priced (Eur0.99/l for diesel when we were there),however,Lidl is the cheaper for food.
The nearest beach ,Bidart,is 1km.Away and is pleasant and clean but the car park gets full very early,but there is another one on the opposite side of the road.
There are plenty of places to visit in the area, I would particularly recommend Le Petit Train wich goes to the summit of La Rhune,pick a clear day and the view is truly spectacular! 14 euros but worth every cent! Also the resorts of Biarritz and St. Jean de Luz are well worth a visit.If you can, catch the evening festival in St. Jean de Luz,it is fantastic,with a band, dancing in the street and a parade led by a man carrying an effigy of a bull which shoots fireworks around!(Health & Safety? What`s that?) I would definitely recommend this area of France as a holiday destination!
