A very relaxing stay on a lovely peaceful site.
Dogs had a great time watching rabbits and a hare every evening and a very short walk to the beach.
Perfect and will return

No longer a caravan club CL, we really enjoyed this peacefu
Location amid fields close to beach access. Doggy heaven! The site has a choice of grass or hard standing, with hookups. Five minutes from a massive deserted beach but take care as high tide goes to the cliff bottom.
We will be back

We have just spent 4 nights here at Newton shores and really enjoyed it.
We were looking for a small quite and secluded site to just get away from it all and this site is great for that, it's only 200 meters from the beach and surrounded by open farm land. The access to the beach isn't great at the moment mainly due to the wet weather we have had as it's just a muddy mess. The site owners did say they were going to do something to improve the access once the weather had dried out abit.
The site is basic with just electric hook up, fresh water tap and waste disposal point ( green chemical only ) but is very well kept and quite.
There is a shop and a chippy about a mile away.
There are some fishing lakes in aldborough which look good and a lovely sandy beach at mappleton with car park and toilets just a few miles up the road, the dogs loved running on the beach and in the sea !
All in all a nice site that we would definitely use again.

Nice views from pitches. The pitches are large static concrete plinths with water and electric hook up on each. Just to bare in mind when you go they only allow green toilet fluid. So no blue elsan.
Other than that tiny snag a very very nice site out the way and very peaceful. It is not an adult only site however so if you have children I would suggest bringing something for them to do as like I said its miles from anywhere really. Would go back again.

Newton Shores is a basic site (no toilets or showers) in a fantastic location close to a very quiet and clean beach. There are hard standings and also a grassed area which can be used if the weather is suitable. Ehu is available if required. The fresh water tap and CDP is located near the house. The camping area is flat and well maintained and there is some shelter from the winds coming off the sea.
The beach is accessed down a track in the car park in East Newton. We found some great fossils; I found a sea urchin fossil so was very pleased. We were on the beach for 3 hours before we saw anyone else. It did get busier in the evenings; there were four people sea fishing!
Our dog loved having a good run around and slept well at night. If walking on the beach, check the tide times as you may get into trouble if caught out by the high tide. There are limited exit points from the beaches in the area, due to the cliffs.
There are numerous interesting old military buildings dating from the 2nd World War in the vicinity. Some are now on beaches due to coastal erosion.
There are no shops in East Newton so you will need to stock up before arriving on site. There are pubs/ shops in nearby villages or supermarkets at Hornsea and Withernsea.
Great price of £8 per night (without EHU) for 2 adults and a dog. We had a great time at Newton Shores and will happily return in the future.
