The site was so wet it was impossible to drive on. The shower and toilet was always cold and there was dog mess. I won't be back.

Arrived here on a damp Thursday afternoon, spoke to the owner when we arrived and were kindly directed to our pitch and shown where reception was by the other friendly vanners already on site.
Being the bank holiday weekend, the electrical hook up pitches were all fully used (glad we'd booked!) and just a few tents in the field behind.
A pleasant enough site representing very good value for money. As previously mentioned by other reviewers a bit ramshackle in places, and the noise from the planes and trains was fairly constant, but that didn't bother us.
The pitch was pretty level with a hardstanding under the van wheels, although the grass under the awning could have been a little shorter, it tickled our bare feet through the breathable flooring!
We were in the area for a couple of days for a family wedding and so this site suited us perfectly, toilets, washing facilities and nice hot showers. Not the best I've used, but more than adequate. Although it was a bit dark in the toilets and I couldn't see any lighting/light switches etc.
My daughters loved all the animals on site, ponies, donkeys, cows and pigs.
We've another family wedding in the area next year and have no hesitation in returning to this site if they've room (only about 12 electrical hook ups).

Very relaxed. No silly rules. Spacious plots. Nice walks by the river. It took 20 mins to walk into Sawbridgeworth using the river path. There's toilets, showers and washing up facilities.
Previous comments by other campers. Train and aircraft noise. It's there, but didn't bother us. Our 3 small children weren't kept awake or woken by it.
And. The site is on a working boat yard/farm of sorts. The camping areas are clear and clean but some of the surrounding bits are 'ramshackle'. It didn't bother us. And at this price. We were happy.
Overall. We had a lovely relaxing 4 days on site

Just got back from two nights on this site. As mentioned, the frequent trains and planes are difficult to ignore, but didn't spoil our stay. The actual camping field is fairly flat, though the grass isn't mowed, and the washing up facility is a cold water tap in the field. The shower block is new and a few minutes walk away from the field - to get to it you have to walk through a boat yard and what seems to be a collection of old machinery and scrap - not sure if they are actually part of the campsite or a separate concern but it is unavoidable (and a bit spooky at night!) There are goats, donkeys, horses and cows in the surrounding fields (and bizarrely, a field of small dogs) Overall, the site is very relaxed, with no rules or regulations indicated to us, but the owner was friendly and the site inexpensive, and we enjoyed our weekend.

Stayed at this site for one night as it was our first time camping. The site was easy to find and we found the owner to be friendly and very helpful. It was a very relaxed site with not many rules and regulations. The toilet and shower block was very clean. The walk into Sawbridgeworth is very pleasant along the canal and takes about 15 mins. In the town is a supermarket, indivdual shops and plenty of pubs!
Although there is some noise from the trains and planes it was not enough to spoil or disturb our stay. There are dogs and other animals on the farm although not a working farm. Would definitely return here.

Stayed here as the 2 reviews sounded good, however the reviews and description fail to mention some key facts. The campsite is about 3 miles away from Stanstead and is directly under the flightpath and it is also about 400m from the train track. If you are a plane spotter or trainspotter or both this is the campsite for you! The planes start taking off at about 4.30am and if your a light sleeper like us, ear plugs are a good idea.
I wouldn't call this a working farm, as there are no crops, having 2 cows 3 goats and a horse in a couple of small fields is not quite my idea of a farm but The kids would like them and we did feed the horse some apples.
The site is easy to find and there are come good local pubs. Toilets and showers clean but there is a £1 charge for the shower.

The site had a friendly atmosphere,
The toilet/shower facilities were very clean and usable.
Situated approx 1 mile from train station so has an easy commute to London and surrounding areas.
Close to a pub and local shops.
Excellent parking facilities.
Owners were accommodating, pleasant and polite and allowed fishing on site which was excellent coarse fishing.
Well signposted with easy access from the main road.

Had help from the lady who runs the farm in finding the site.It was easy to get to via the riverpath from sawbridgeworth station app 20mins walk.
The farm had goats,a highland cow, ponies and dogs on it.
The facilities were all brand new,the shower costing £1 and the toilet block was free,
The nearest shop we found app 20 mins walk away big budgens with all you need. Also pubs there.
The farm is directly next to the river and was also like a boat repair yard with a few dry docked boats which I found interesting.
The canal path is 1 min from the pitches and very picturesque.
The pitches were a good size.
The stansted express runs fairly close.
I was unsure of the fishing private/public near the site.
Overall I enjoyed my stay
